She messaged me after I took the class to ask how I was feeling. Wow! That's great customer service. People who go above and beyond are rare. Stephanie so sweet to message me after the class. BUTT, more importantly the Yoga here is Unique not freak unique but clever and inspiring. It's a bit small inside but cozy and really quiet... a calm space with a buddhist taste. Thier golden gift is the WALL YOGA class, where you use straps to wrap around inset bars on the wall and ceiling and eyelets in the floor to hold yourself in new and more stable postures while doing resistance stretching!!!YAH! OH SO KEWL! (Real Yoga should be like sex, keep on mixing it up!) So, I hope these oceanside islander pepls stay around along time so I can come back and enjoy thier wild and wonderful WALL YOGA!! As I recall the owner is South American and had a really down to earth vibe, the price was good as being just across the street from the famous Hotel Del (Coronado) puts him and his partner in a high priced rent district, so the price is higher than you'd find over on the mainland Deigo studios, but none I've seen in this fun city has this new and smart wall method to offer, so if you are looking for something to stretch your Yoga horizon, go DEEP & check it out, it's down stairs, with a ocean breeze and there you will find a deeper stretch than you had ever thought possible, you will beleive before you leave! We LUVD IT!

Unfortunately although I recommended this studio hundreds of times since I grew up down the street…read moreand have been a neighbor since Ginseng, I can no longer recommend. A business shows their values through their priorities. When I called and tried to book a class today I could only get an AI chat bot. It didn't understand that I was trying to book 1 of 2 available classes today. Then it couldn't find my account in the system. When someone called back later, he acted like I should've known that I could've just come in. Well maybe if someone answered or the website said that, I wouldn't have booked a class with a studio that answered my call. When the guy on the phone tried to offer assistance, another person who I didn't know was on the line started asking for my personal information. At this point I didn't even feel comfortable disclosing my name, and I don't feel welcomed or comfortable coming back to this studio. Sad because I had some really important emotional breakthroughs here. But I guess they don't even know I exist or have my account in their records so I don't know... I'm disappointed in South Park Yoga. And I do not want to support business that use AI like this. It's lazy, anti-human, anti-spirit, goes against everything I agree with and honestly, yoga is supposed to be about Purpose, Process, Soul, Intention, Grounding, REAL LIFE. What does it say about a yoga studio that uses AI? The soul is gone. Or it's AI generated now. Brad and Marilyn: I didn't know you were both on the line until you started talking over each other. It was uncomfortable. And yes it is a replacement for human connection when this is the result. And how was I supposed to know I could text a phone number? Yes, it has been years, but I was trying to come back... now I feel foolish trying to book. I am so utterly disappointed, especially in this response. I won't try and visit you all again don't worry.

I was staying in Chula Vista during a recent trip down to SoCal, and the first thing I wanted to do…read morewas go to yoga. I dropped my luggage at my friend's and found a couple of nearby yoga studios. Chula Vista Yoga Center had classes that fit well for my schedule while I was in town, so I called it my home studio for the weekend. Signing up for the classes and checking in were a breeze. The studio was gorgeous, and I loved the inspiring wall murals and paintings inside the space. If I was local, I would certainly attend the monthly offerings including workshops, sound healing events, etc. I enjoyed the two classes I was able to take. Both classes were heated, and the teachers were awesome. For my first class I took Andre's Ashtanga class on Thursday at 10:30am. I used to practice Ashtanga regularly, so taking the class was like riding a bike. Andre modified the primary sequence, so I thought it was very accessible to yogis of all levels. The other class I was able to take over the weekend was Jackie's vinyasa flow at 8am on Saturday. She had such a creative, challenging flow and introduced an asana I've never done before. Lastly, customer service was excellent. The two front desk receptionist who assisted me on both days were very friendly and helpful.
