When we bought our 1979 house in Fountain Hills in 2020 it came with a water softener. Being new to…read moreboth FH and Arizona, one of the local contractors we initially had in to do stuff highly recommended Chris at Aqua Pro to give the unit a once over. Chris was friendly and helpful in explaining our inherited water softener system to us as well as how to use and maintain it. While the unit wasn't brand new, Chris believed it had a few more years of service life in it. Jump forward nearly six years later and this same softener system was now suddenly not working. Chris came back to the house (his first time since that initial visit) and noted the unit was now way past its prime. We had the option to replace with new or to try to extend it's life a little longer before replacing by manually setting the dial to get it to recharge. We decided to try the manual recharge and he showed me the steps to take to do that. We were able to get our old unit to work about 2-3 weeks more, but then realized the manually recharge no longer worked and it was legitimately time to replace the system. There was never any other business for us to consider but Aqua Pro. I made the call, Vickie got us on the schedule and Chris got the new unit installed in about two hours. Early into his installation Chris discovered that our pressure valve was shot and the water pressure was coming out so forcefully, it would burn out the new system if he left didn't replace it. We did have him replace the valve and he got everything installed and working still in the time frame anticipated. Aqua Pro offers great communication, have always been prompt and on-time to our appointments, are trustworthy and knowledgeable and very reasonable and fair in pricing. I've used him twice now: once to install a thermal expansion tank and drip arm on my gas water heater and once for an emergency call when a mysterious leak appeared in my laundry room. For the first visit, Geno's work brought my water heater up to code, and he creatively installed the expansion tank so that it did not take up any additional room in a very tight area of my garage. For the second visit, Geno agreed to come on a Saturday morning to check out the leak and resolved it by clearing my washer drain line, which had clogged. All this for very reasonable rates. He doesn't operate a crew, so he can't be everywhere at once, but if you can sometimes be patient, Geno is your guy.
