90/10 isn't always what it should be,way to much trim added but the prices are fair and you avoid the pink sludge Walmart and Kroger add to they're ground beef.They seem to have problems keeping help,every month I go in the entire staff has changed. read more

I placed a order for primarily roast and it was fantastic. The price was very reasonable. I went back and purchased more beef and chicken. I have went to this location 2 weeks in a row the 1st week was totally amazing everything was spot on. Fresh wonderful loved it.. This week I go and buy 2 packs of chicken that's in the fresh department that's prepackaged. this time the meat Is bad has been packaged for a month I get home I can smell the package Without even opening it and it has a rotten smell.. Because I got good meat last week I didn't think there would be a problem. But this week I see there is a problem I need to check the date every single time. I'm seeing this not only with Yoder meats but with everywhere I go.I have called and left a voicemail on their machine to let them know about the problem. And that I will be back on Monday to exchange for fresh meat and I will be checking the date. I hope this doesn't happen again. The young gentleman working should check the dates and those meats should not be laying in there for a month. Maybe they should stick them in the freezer once they've gone past a few days so they can still sell them and they're not rotten. Causing someone to get sick. Or lose the company money.. One package was packaged on 7 8 22. The other was packaged on 7 29 22.. The meat should not have been sold unless it was frozen.. To just set in the fridge that long its spoils. I drive down to Wichita once per month to visit my Daughter, Son In-law and grandchildren. There is a young man that works most Saturdays I would assume is the owners son. I went into the store today and ask for 8 hamburger patties and was very rudely told they had frozen patties and I could run them under cold water to unfreeze. i politely ask him a second time if he could please make 8 patties since I was the only customer in store and they had 2 other people also working behind the meat counter. He Proudly told me NO. it's the third time in last year I have had this experience with the same person. It's unfortunately he doesn't know how to provide customer service and I will never return again. Losing one customer at a time will catch up with you. read more

What they say! Taste The Old Fashioned Flavor ? It's a joke of a meat butcher shop! The meats Beef Chicken Turkey It's all delivered via truck and none of the meats are home grown from Yoder Ks.Its all supplied through all the big meat companies and pre packaged.Yes they cut the meat up out of packages but it's not a real meat locker where they have meat hanging in the back! I wasn't impressed and you will see that it all taste the same plain.Nothing old fashioned about it. Yes they have different kinds of cheese to cinnamon rolls that come from the main office in Yoder Ks but if you want the real experience drive to Yoder! Customer service is terrible cause all they seem to hire is young people who don't represent the company very well.Bad attitudes with being very wasteful with the products they are supposed to be selling. I have walked into this location only see them vaping on those ecigs I wonder what they do when customers don't come in. My viewpoint is they should hire some professional people to run this business who actually care for what they are promoting/selling of the product! Went to Yoder's Meats for the first time. I went to pick out some Porterhouses to grill and some Dog Bones. Ended up also picking out some Pork Chops. They both grilled up beautifically. The Yoder Meats website said that they carried a Gluten Free line of foods -- but apparently not at this location. They carry a variety of canned Condiments and some Amish Noodles. They have a Jerky Display. Deli Cases. Frozen Food Case. Bags of Wood Chunks for Grilling. The Staff was polite and patient as I looked around. I picked out some Dog Bones. Then looked through their Deli Case. I asked if they carry any Goat Cheeses -- they don't! I am giving them a 4 instead of a 5 because they are rather PRICEY. I didn't find their location terribly convenient. And I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any Gluten Free Products. read more

Charlie K. Went to your store on Maize road this morning to get my usual bundled roast that we have twice a month. Gentleman behind the counter said he was cutting some up so I said I would go pay a bill and be back. When I came back about a hour later they handed me three small roasts instead of my usual 8 pounder all in one and one wasn't even a bundled . I will not be using your Maize store again. I know this is falling on def ears. This is not the first time I've had problems at this store with my orders. read more

Ground beef bundle was great except the 90/10 flavor was off..tried grilled burgers, meatloaf and tacos. Renders a lot of fat but nothing close to the 80/20 taste. Recently ordered custom beef plate ribs at 10-12lbs per rack, after trimming fat we had 6lbs of meat ea. and looked more like beef back ribs that have hardly any meat. As for steaks we've tried rib-eyes.. better than dillon's but nothing like Sam's or Costco prime for the same price. In all we've spent over $400 at Yoder meats and they have come up short of our expectations. read more

I ordered the 35 pounds of meat for $100 special after seeing it advertised on tv. A week after my order I picked it up, all completely frozen and not what was advertised on the commercial. I called the east store and told them I didn't get any bacon wrapped patties as advertised and they said "oh sorry, that shouldn't have been advertised "! The bacon wrapped was what pushed me over to finally order from them for the 1st and now apparently my last time. read more

I have been going to yoder for years to choose great meat for my family. Recently I have been going in on mondays to get food for my dog. I can always find the organs I need. The times I cant then it has been ordered for me. I havte had casual questions about certain things and pat from the west store has gotten everything answered or ordered. I questioned him about what happens to left over deer remains.( Not realizing yoder processed deer) he was able to find out and now my dog is very happy. Most employees are very kind and Heidi and Pat are more helpful than most. Yoder will be my go-to for a while! Went to the processing plant and Heidy and the red head/beard guy helped out so much! I give 4 stars because I want to find chicken backs. Aparently I can not ord er those Store and plant need better communication. Front girl said she would have things ready and no one at plant expected me. But they still took care of me. They even gave my kids an experience. Explained different animal parts to them. read more
