They serve various size of lobsters as well as cook them for you. However they do not provide place to eat or utensils so they function more as a market than a restaurant. They have sort of a parking lot where you can park. There are few works on the back hanging around and 2 younger staff that take care of orders. Lobster has quite few size options and some explanations for terms they use. We weren't sure what to get but figure we wanted larger size lobsters. SLX which is the largest ones were $14 per pound. They can also let you pick them live as well but we chose 2 lb ones. They charge $1.5 to boil but it's a-lot of work to boil properly so it's worth it. We waited about 20-25minutes or so and they also chilled it so that we can take it home to eat. Luckily we had ice box with some ice packs so it kept the lobster fresh until getting home. Once we got home we opened the bag to eat the lobster. It's a huge lobster with large claws. We got a large bowl and separate plate to eat. It was a massive task to crack the claws as one of the claw was huge and very tough. We ended up using a hammer and dull knife to crack them open. The meat was tender and sweet. One of the best maine lobster we had. Overall the place provides fresh maine lobster for good price. Only issue is that they don't serve it so you will need to plan to take it home and have tools to crack them open. They also only take cash. If i were to come back i would give them a call a head of time to have the lobster prepared to go and pick them up which seems to be what other people were doing.

I am absolutely appalled by the way we were treated at this establishment today, October 16, 2026…read more We parked in front of the restaurant, which was not even open at the time, and spent approximately 10 minutes visiting a store across the street. When we returned to our vehicle, an employee came outside and proceeded to berate us for parking there, rudely informing us that we were "lucky we did not get ticketed." The employee's tone, attitude, and overall behavior were completely unnecessary, disrespectful, and shockingly unprofessional. To make matters worse, after speaking to us in such a hostile manner, the employee sarcastically told us to "have a nice day" before walking back inside. I have rarely experienced such an unpleasant interaction, particularly with an establishment that was not even open for business. I strongly encourage management to identify and address the employee who was working on October 16, 2026. Regardless of any parking restrictions, there is absolutely no excuse for treating people with such hostility and disrespect. A simple, courteous explanation would have been more than sufficient. We will absolutely never dine at this restaurant, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. I encourage anyone considering visiting this establishment to take this experience into account. The way employees treat people, whether they are paying customers or not, speaks volumes about the business they represent. An incredibly disappointing experience and a terrible reflection on this establishment.

The shop is located in the basement of their house, if you have to go in there, watch your head! He used to steam clams and lobsters, but now only steams lobsters. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as we did get undercooked steamers once, but were able to take care of it at our rental. The lobsters are usually cooked perfectly, but one time, on my birthday, I got a bad lobster. It was completely rotten and smelled bad when cracked open. Since then we have been trying other places in the area for our lobsters.
