There's swings for typical functioning people and people with special needs, even a swing for people in wheelchairs and another safety swing that a person can be strapped into. There's historical markers and an actual Howitzer cannon. There's also a very inviting gazebo, and artful metal benches and tables that showcase the aesthetic you'll see all over Shiner. I'd be proud to have one of these benches at my house. They even have cup holders on the benches, which is just a real nice touch. Throughout the park, there is paved walking and the park is surrounded by several businesses within walking distance. Next time we come, I hope we have more time so we can pick have a picnic here. I'm surprised I didn't see more people hanging out here. It was just so nice, and the park is cattycorner to the hotel so visitors can go hang out easily. I do wish they had a bbq pit here.
