Fun summer camp. Daughter has gone there and then worked there for many years. Lots of outdoor cabins and spirited staff.

I have been going to camp every summer for nine years, and it has been the highlight of every summer.

My two children were at Cadence for almost 2 years. Our children started out in Infant and 3 year…read moreold rooms and moved up during their time to Toddler 1 and 4 year old. The staff has changed through our time there but everyone was great! To name a few still there...Mandy as the director works hard and always a pleasure to work with! Maria, Courtney, Sammy, Mia, Abbi and Hannah all teachers that treated my kids as their own! Loved the preschool programs for my oldest she learned so much. My son in the infants even learned sign language! I liked that they had teacher conferences twice a year so you could have that one on one discussion on how they were doing. But the teachers were always available during drop off or pick up to discuss any recent questions as well. Summer program was fun with lots of outdoor playing, Kona ice visits, bike day and more! Other fun activities through the year with visits from the Florence Fire department, library, pj day, holiday parties and fun art work being sent home on the regular! Even art work from the Infants! We would still be at Cadance but with school starting for my oldest soon we moved to a place closer to our home. If you're considering Cadence look no further! Your children will be in great hands!

A working farm and store, open to public tours and events…read more We attended a wedding reception at Gorman Heritage Farm just north of Cincinnati, and we loved the farm! There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!

I am sure the weekend has a different experience but there weren't many animals to see besides chickens, no snacks or drinks (from what I saw) and just not a lot to do! We did get to pick sunflowers which was fun.
