Awesome location with great classes. I've had great experiences with other YMCAs and this one doesn't fail.

Great place with even greater classes. Only downside is that it is very small and no pool.

I restarted training with him to become stronger, build endurance, and tone up, and he's helped me accomplish all of that and more. At the beginning of the year, I told him one of my biggest goals was to be able to do unassisted pull-ups. Through his consistent coaching and encouragement, I can now do not just one, but several unassisted pull-ups! As an added bonus, I've also lost 14 lbs along the way. Ken is no-nonsense, knowledgeable, and truly committed to helping you achieve your fitness goals. I'm excited to continue working with him on my fitness journey. Highly recommend!

So I told him don't worry about it. He continues to say basically my review is hurting his business so I googled him and showed him other reviews saying basically the same thing. Now he's harassing me saying he doesn't feel comfortable training me etc. This man has walked up to me while I'm worry to confront me about my review and MY OPINION. Don't give him a bad review because he will take it to the next level and to the heart. He even went as far as calling me to have this conversation. Be careful what y'all put

The gym itself is pretty nice…read more *Not a lot of rowers so our group was split into two separate heats which is fine, but our workout ended on the rower (If you made it back to the beginning of the AMRAP) so I ran into problems when I went to go back to the rower for more Cals but there wasn't one available, had to watch the clock run out of time with no rower. **I travel a lot for work and drop in to gyms all across the country, this gyms drop in fee is a little higher then most. Not only is it higher then most but you also have to pay separate for a shirt (No shirt/drop in fee combination here). So I spent I believe $45 for a shirt and the drop in...Ridiculous. ***I am in the military and asked for a military discount. The owner laughed in my face and said he didn't do a military discount because he was in the military too. You would think that he would be more inclined to give a military discount since he is in the military himself. Not the case. ****His wife though, was very kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible but was limited due to his constraints. *****The workout was straight off the Crossfit Website. UPADTE: As you can see below the owner and head trainer had a rebuttal for literally every observation, comment and opinion I had of this gym. A clear "I'm right you're wrong mentality" My review stands and I believe this demonstrates the exact character, mentality and attitude I (semi) experienced while there from him; NOT the members or the community (they were great). Good luck on the business.

Scaling exercises to your ability is strongly encouraged. The people that work out here are very supportive and friendly and we always have a good time working together to get healthier. The animals seem well taken care of and happy. The have mostly tigers but also a lion and some smaller cats. They even have two foxes and two bears! This is different than a zoo, because they have these animals as a way to save them. Some of them were from private owners and some were form closed zoos. The workers and volunteers were all happy as well.

You've never been to a place like this before... and at first, I wasn't even sure what to expect…read more The sign outside is nicely done, but when you walk in, the tables and chairs look like they're 50 years old... clean and organized, but the area clearly needs an upgrade. But that's actually the point... every dollar this nonprofit earns goes directly to animal care, facilities, and expansion. Nothing is wasted on appearances. And that mindset defines everything about this place. We signed up for a tour and arrived early to walk around a bit on our own. By chance, we ran into Curt Logiudice, the founder and owner of the sanctuary... a remarkable man who has devoted his life to this mission. Hearing him explain how it started, how it's grown, and his vision for the future was inspiring. Watching him interact with the bear they have was priceless... playful, natural, and full of trust. You couldn't tell who was enjoying it more... Curt or the bear. What they're doing here is truly admirable. Their mission is the rescue of exotic animals from serious and often tragic situations. Once an animal arrives at Catty Shack Ranch, it has a home for life. They do not breed, trade, sell, or buy animals. The sanctuary is home to tigers, a bear, lions, pumas, leopards, lynx, foxes, and coatimundis... all cared for with dignity and respect. The guided tour is absolutely worth it. The staff is knowledgeable, the experience is educational, and you get surprisingly close to the animals while still feeling completely safe. The atmosphere is calm, respectful, and not overcrowded. I noticed families with kids whose eyes were wide with amazement... it's that kind of place. This is privately funded, and even veterinarians volunteer their time to care for animals in need of medical treatment. If you see Curt on the grounds... and you probably will... stop and talk to him. His passion, humility, and genuine love for these animals is unmistakable. Please visit. Please support this place. What they're doing here truly matters. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
