I would rather not sit in a strangers lap while I'm doing squats or cable pull downs lol. I'm surprised they managed to squeeze in two tanning bed rooms and a hydro massage room. The locker room is also super tight. Two toilet stalls and two showers; the shower wasn't super clean and had rust on the hardware. On a lighter note, the front desk lady is super friendly. Overall, if you have to go here, it'll get the job done.

The guy who checked me in on 08-13-21 has the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life. I had to keep deescalating our talk. No ac, machines look like they came from a junkyard. The cardio equipment looks extremely unsafe, as well as most of the workout machines. Bathroom locks are just screws. Overall horrible place, surprised they are in business. Save your money and go to a half decent gym like Asana, Or Blink. Just a few miles away there are Workout anytime and EnerGym Jax. Cheaper and wayyy better.

Since I'm…read morecurrently dealing with lower back pain, I planned to take advantage of my Black Card membership and use the hydro massage chair afterward. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I waited at the front counter to be checked into the massage area, but no employee ever came to assist. At one point, several other members were also standing there waiting, and eventually everyone just gave up and walked away. Time was extremely important because I had to get home, shower, and log into work by 8:30 AM, so I ended up having to leave without being able to use the service I specifically pay extra for. I enjoy working out at Planet Fitness, but better front desk coverage and member support--especially during busy morning hours--is definitely needed. Paying for upgraded amenities that are inaccessible is frustrating and disappointing.

This gym was pretty busy, the equipment is good, the staff is friendly, the bathrooms look clean. You can get a membership for $10 with that membership; you only get to use your home gym. I think the other membership is $24 you can use any gym anywhere!

In the past I have always given up or gotten injured, but this gym is different in so many ways! The coach's are phenomenal, and the members are so inspiring and motivating- It is definitely a #fitfam. I am not where I want to be, but I have come so far in 9 months that I have to step back and be proud of myself. I couldn't do a traditional push up - now I can. I couldn't deadlift more then 100 #'s and now I can lift 175#'s. I couldn't sit in a squat at all - and now I can hold it for 30 seconds I couldn't do a pull up - and now I can get my chin over the bar - Those of just some of the things that I notice -- So much progress in 9 months puts a smile on face It was not always easy and there have been many days I did not want to get up and get dressed, but I choose me this year and surprising I have continued to choose me. I have many reason why I could stop, but I have learned that I need to stop making those excuses- If you have ever thought of joining a Cross Fit gym - I HIGHLY Recommend North Jax Fitness.

Not only is it higher then most but you also have to pay separate for a shirt (No shirt/drop in fee combination here). So I spent I believe $45 for a shirt and the drop in...Ridiculous. ***I am in the military and asked for a military discount. The owner laughed in my face and said he didn't do a military discount because he was in the military too. You would think that he would be more inclined to give a military discount since he is in the military himself. Not the case. ****His wife though, was very kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible but was limited due to his constraints. *****The workout was straight off the Crossfit Website. UPADTE: As you can see below the owner and head trainer had a rebuttal for literally every observation, comment and opinion I had of this gym. A clear "I'm right you're wrong mentality" My review stands and I believe this demonstrates the exact character, mentality and attitude I (semi) experienced while there from him; NOT the members or the community (they were great). I like I can put in my weight, and time. I love the blue tooth option, and you can see how many times you've gone around the track. The treadmill is also very smooth. But I feel like they don't have enough treadmills, sometimes people are waiting. I actually love this gym, but I can't deal with the annual fee! Absolutely not! It was a nice experience though!

I restarted training with him to become stronger, build endurance, and tone up, and he's helped me accomplish all of that and more. At the beginning of the year, I told him one of my biggest goals was to be able to do unassisted pull-ups. Now he's harassing me saying he doesn't feel comfortable training me etc. This man has walked up to me while I'm worry to confront me about my review and MY OPINION. Don't give him a bad review because he will take it to the next level and to the heart. He even went as far as calling me to have this conversation. Be careful what y'all put
