Now this was different. They recommended this place to me as a place where you could leave your…read moreclothes and have them washed for you and you just come and pick them up later. Now, I actually haven't had anyone do my laundry in a looooooong time. So handing over my clothes like that wasn't an easy task. With the hurricane coming though, and my practically non stop schedule at work, I decided to give it a shot. Its on a busy street in the Gables so I recommed you go around the back where they have free parking avaliable. Once inside, it was very clean and well maintained and you had the option of leaving your laundry or doing your laudry yourself. The service was very friendly and efficient. They charge a dollar per pound. Seems cheap but when you bring in 52 lbs worth of laundry (including bed sheets, 2 quilts, and towels) its could get a bit pricy to some. Just don't let you laundry stack up like I did and you'll be good to go. The return service could be same day but due to the circumstances, they told me it would be ready by 5pm the next day which was perfect for me. When i picked up my laudry, everything was neatly folded and wrapped in brown paper, gift style, and anything that needed to be hung, was hung and covered up with plastic to prevent any lint from getting on it. I personally hate doing laundry and will wait till I run out of clothes before deciding to visit a laundry mat, especially wutb my schedule at work. So for someone like me, this service was god sent. If you have similar feelings towards laundry, give them a try!

They recently renovated this spot because I had frequented the 24 hour one a few blocks away. After seeing how modern the renovation was, I decided to stop in with all my loads to do my wash. I came later at night so I'd be able to grab a spot up front but then realized they have rear parking as well. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. They work on a card system so you basically buy a loadable card the first time and then use the screens to insert funds w your card. No need for a batch of quarters which honestly is a huge convenience (as long as you don't lose your card). There's plenty of machines in both large and small to wash and dry your laundry so I wasn't crammed next to a bunch of people. I will say it's definitely one of the nicest laundromats around because everything is new and clean. Plus, they have a little coffee counter to amplify the experience. The prices are exactly what I thought they'd be which is great. The machines work very efficiently and I was in and out rather quickly with all my stuff folded. It's nice to have a clean and reliable place to get my stuff washed in my neighborhood so I give it two thumbs up!

I love her to pieces, but let's be real, the drive to Doral can be a bit wild. So, I decided it was time to mix things up and find someone closer. That's when I discovered Gables Laundry and Dry Cleaners, which has a mini shop right inside! Nestled within a coin laundry in Coral Gables, these three fabulous ladies have transformed their corner into a little workspace with dressing rooms and y todo--talk about a hidden gem! I loved my experience here; they were super helpful, affordable, and clearly know their stuff. I had a dress taken in for just $25, and now it fits like a glove! I'm so happy to have found this new spot that's not only closer to home but also keeps my wallet happy! If you're on the hunt for a new tailor, this is the place to be!

I don't really come here to do laundry. I am a one percenter [1 %] because I have a washer and dryer in my house. Thank you very much. But I come here because they have a soda machine with 70 cent cold ass sodas, and they are open 24 hours. I don't keep soda in my house, because it'll be gone almost immediately. Instead I tell myself "If your fat ass wants a soda that bad, you're gonna have to go get it elsewhere". So I drive my car two blocks. If you really want to know about the coin laundry, well, everything has been used and abused. Paint is chipped off the equipment, they have a detergent machine that's tipping over, there is ample parking lot, wi-fi, tables to fold your clothes, and a TV perpetually tuned to Univision. Nobody will steal your clothes, or jack you. There.

The last fold and wash we did they completely damaged all of cloths. I replied that white towels don't wash with regular cloths. Then we started seeing the rest of the cloths with the same black stains. We just bought these cloths for a cruise we did a week before. They were new Hugo Boss shirts as you will see on the pictures below. She didn't bother to accept responsibility or care for her customer.

It is not shipped anywhere else. That's a rare find since most dry cleaners don't have a plant on site and have drive your clothes to a secondary place. Pressing is done meticulously with amazing crease lines. My buttons and zippers are all checked to make sure none of them are lose or broken prior to cleaning it. Its a cash, money order, or check only. No credit cards (to keep prices reasonable since credit cards take a big percent from each purchase which in turn puts the cost on the customers).
