I came across Kree's Yelp page because of how close she was, but what really stood out was her website--the caliber and vibrancy of her photos were incredible. I knew right away she'd be a perfect fit for capturing my niece, both in her cap and gown and in her super colorful prom dress (which I was confident Kree could do justice!). From the moment I reached out, Kree was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The contract was simple and straightforward, pricing was fair and the breakdown of her packages were awesome. and she helped us agree on a time and location that worked perfectly, not far from our house either, which was a huge plus. On the day of the shoot, Kree arrived right on time and immediately made my niece feel comfortable. Since it was my niece's first time being professionally photographed, I appreciated how Kree guided her with poses and gave her direction to bring out her best angles. She was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience fun. We received the edited photos about two weeks later, and they were amazing, better than I could have imagined. Kree truly captured my niece's personality and the significance of the moment. Per contract she created, she told me she would deliver the photos for our shoot 2.5-3 weeks after the shoot (which was done on October 24th). Now into 2026, I haven't heard from her since that message on November 15th, countless phone calls and text messages with zero response or explanation. I must express my profound disappointment with Vishnu based on our recent engagement. We hired him for my son's wedding in the summer of 2023, entrusting him with capturing some of our most cherished moments. However, a month post-wedding, we received an email from him claiming that all the photos were lost due to a robbery. While we empathize with unforeseen circumstances, the manner in which this situation was handled was highly unprofessional. Throughout our entire engagement, there was a conspicuous lack of direct communication; all interactions were limited to impersonal emails. A professional of his stature should have had the courtesy to reach out personally, explain the situation, and discuss potential solutions. To add to the distress, when a partial set of photos was eventually provided, numerous significant moments from the wedding were conspicuously absent. These are moments that we can never recreate, and their loss is irreplaceable. When we sought compensation or at least a genuine conversation about the way forward, Vishnu chose to cease all communication, leaving us feeling cheated and undervalued. Given this disappointing experience, I would caution anyone considering hiring Vishnu. It's crucial to have a photographer who values not just the art of photography but also the trust and emotions of their clients. Jin must have had a tremendous challenge taking some of these photographs, because our adorable, albeit uncooperative one-year-old was crying throughout the ceremony and afterward. Yet somehow we still ended up with hundreds of beautiful photos from Jin, including of our tearstained doll. He sent them in groups. I think we got the first ten within about a week, then maybe 60 within a month, and the rest within 3 months. Before the wedding, we told Jin we thought we didn't need a million photos, just of the main events and a few planned ones, but he correctly pointed out that your own wedding day ends up being kind of a blur to you until you see photographs of it, and it's good to take as many as possible throughout and also to think about and plan which posed photos you want to take. He ended up capturing so many beautiful moments that we will now remember forever, and I'm glad we trusted his experience. We might have otherwise sent him home early and missed so many stunning photos and great memories. I would recommend Jin's photography highly, and I'm glad to serve as a reference!

I hired Mark to photograph my wedding after my first choice photographer backed out kind of late in…read morethe game. Mark was the only other photographer I could find who had what I felt were reasonable prices. He and his partner work really well together and my husband and I thought they were great to work with as well. They posted photographs to an online gallery for us really quickly (perhaps because I asked for less photoshopping?) and we were all blown away by first, the quality of the pictures and second, the number of pictures to choose from. The group pictures and candid shots all turned out really great, especially since the lighting outdoors was probably less than ideal. The candid shots especially were fun to look at and I think they did a really good job of capturing the fun everyone had that day. Mark and his partner both had some really great, fun ideas for shots of the entire bridal party too. We opted not to have an album made to save a little money, so I can't write anything about the production quality there, but I cannot emphasize enough how great quality the prints I ordered were. Their photographs are really great. I would definitely recommend Mark to any bride looking for a photographer on a budget in the Bay Area. I would also recommend to brides (just a bit of general advice) to have a list of photographs you want, so you don't forget anything. The reason I have four stars instead of 5 was because they had this idea of me plus some plants that ended up being really sharp and a few days later, some itchy welts showed up on my arms. I don't know what those plants were. Also, I wish we had more regular, conservative portrait shots that I could show my relatives. I should emphasize conservative.
