Hmmm they're awesome!!…read more Seriously my husband has been on a quest for burgers here in Oaxaca, and we drove a few times by this place until one day we decided to stop and eat something. We're talking about big sized burgers with many combinations of ingredients, One of our favourites is the Hawaiian buster or the master burger is great too. Their French fries are really good too, and I can't forget to mention their milkshakes. I just love the vanilla one although I would lo like it even more if they had a bigger size. The location is easy to find but they don't have a parking lot, this is not a problem since there's plenty of parking in the streets close by. The only problem is since they're so good, every time we go is busy, like we've had to wait for 30-40 min sometimes but in the end it's totally worth it, believe me!

With that said I'm a little tired of Mexican food after being here for about two weeks so I opted to give it a try. I actually really liked the broccoli salad that came with the sandwich, it was tasty and fresh. Would definitely get that again. The sandwich was good, but the bread was terrible - so dry and hard. It was a bummer because the rest of the ingredients were yummy. They should have just thrown it on some simple white bread and it would be 10x better. Cheesecake was yummy but again a little pricey at 80 pesos. Probably wouldn't come back but I would consider getting a small side of the broccoli salad to go as a snack in the future.

When my family suggested switching it up going Italian & pizza I was apprehensive. So we found El sol y la Luna and our server Jorge was so attentive and gave us great recommendations. We started with French fries that were homemade felt like home with 4 sauces. We tried two empanadas that Jorge recommended and they were full of flavor and must try cheesy fresh deliciousness. We order two pizza's pepperoni & bolognese with a lasagna for our family of 4. The cheese the sauce so light yet full of flavor we ate it all. My kids ordered the Nutella crepe for dessert and it was so authentic warm gooey Nutella goodness. Had a bottle of wine to pair with the meal it was perfect. However, Jose's establishment comes complete with delicious food and excellent service. He is a true artist when it comes to food (formerly worked with Bobby Flay in the US) and enjoys adding a new spin to old favorites. I will most definitely be frequenting this restaurant.
