Dropped by for dinner one evening between Christmas and New Years, when the crowds in Oaxaca were surging. Clearly the staff were stretched to provide attentive service but they were all smiles and the food was really good. The empanadas on the menu were tempting but we opted for pizza and the house wine and were not disappointed.

Hands down to this amazing place. First of all the place is cute, cozy and smells amazing!!! We sat in the back open patio which is very cute and has a romantic lighting set. I ordered a pasta with Chile and to my surprise it was very hot, I asked the waiter if they could put a little extra sauce so that I could finish it but instead the cook came out apologize and informed me she would make me a whole new pasta. Needless to say the pasta was amazing (olive oil, garlic and Chile pasta). We also had the empanadas de calabaza, wine, coffee, tea and the cajeta crapes with ice cream. The ice cream is a must!!!!!! The staff at this place is very attentive and the food is made right when you order it so be a little patient (so worth it) have a drink while you wait :)

Lasaña boloñesa, demasiado deliciosa!!

Newly remodeled, best place in Oaxaca to listen to cool music, have amazing food and great drinks! Pizzas are individual sized and delicious, the black bean one is a must try! The lasagnas are great too. Try their seasonal drinks (I had the guava-ginger and it was awesome). Keep in mind this is a place to hang out and chill, so take your time, relax, and enjoy! Highly recommended!

Their michelada was a 7/10. I think a bit more lemon juice and having modelo beer available would have made it a 10.

Not exactly authentic Mexican/Oaxacan food, but tasty, cheap.

Great Italian food and wine! There was a band playing when I went on a Saturday night. Loved the fetticini pesto!

The service was slow, which we forgave because we showed up right after a big family, but that didn't really excuse the dirty plates. Also, our food came out in this order: my husband's dinner, appetizers, my dinner, forks. We had to put an extra plate over his food to keep it warm while we waited for him to get a fork to eat it with. I love the food in Oaxaca, but after more than a week of mole and cheese, I thought it might be nice to take a little break. I came here because I saw the delicious-looking shrimp pasta in someone else's yelp review. Attached is a picture of my shrimp pasta. There was about a quarter-inch of tomato water at the bottom of what I thought was going to be a garlic and oil-based sauce. Very bland and watery. But I probably would have let all of that slide (kind of my fault for trying to get Italian food in Oaxaca) if my husband and I both hadn't woken up around midnight after our meal to struggle in the bathroom. I'll spare you the details, but it was no fun. I'm kicking myself--the first time I got sick visiting Mexico, and it was because I tried to find some American-style comfort food. Whoops! The rooftop was nice, and the wine was good, but I won't make this mistake again.
