    As Youth Hostels go this place is pretty great. It's clean and well organised. The beds all have…read moreindividual lights and built in plug socket and shelving putting them ahead of some of the world's finest hotels in realising that people have mobile phones they need to charge overnight now and they often use them as alarm clocks. Why does no one seem to realise this? There is a great communal lounge area and a bar/restaurant which is nice if a little overpriced. The breakfast served in the morning is great too. It doubles as a campsite and the grounds were quite lovely as it was the summer. However, one criticism would be that it isn't quite as central as you'd like. I'm also not to sure about the price. I was on a stag do and paid £50 for one night...I assume that this included some other costs as for a hostel in Penzance that would be pretty extortionate.
