Went with a friend to have hot pot here for lunch yesterday…read more We had made reservations ahead of time, but there was plenty of seatings available when we got there. I would recommend getting reservations for probably dinner and on the weekends when they can be busier. We got seated to a table quickly. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant was really nice since they are still quite new. The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of ample parking spaces available. To order, you select your items for the hotpot through a tablet. Drinks is all included in the price. Drinks available include tea, fountain drinks and slush puppies. The only thing that is paid separately is the price of the broth and they have several to choose from. Glory Dim Sum is also a part of the restaurant so if you're also looking to have some dim sum the cost is separate for that from the AYCE hot pot. All ingredients were fresh, although they were a bit lacking in the green vegetables they offered. I really wanted the chrysanthemum, but it never came to our table and the servers never told us that they didn't have any available so I assumed they just didn't have any in stock. You also have access to a sauce bar with a variety of ingredients to make your own dipping sauce. After dinner, you can also enjoy ice cream for dessert, but they didn't have much selections. The only flavours we saw that day were rainbow, black cherry, and a small amount of mango ice cream left.

Food was excellent, lots to choose from in the soup base and the extra's. Loved the ambience and…read morethe freedom to choose your drinks and that the staff were respectful and patient. The seating was good for family size, expect for staff to seat you, show you how to order and feel free to ask any questions you have. Drinks are self serve and for us the utensil, bowls and cups we had to get up and go get along with our choice of spices, condiments etc... I happen to like that I could choose and not be settled with something I had no control over. Be prepared to get up to get your choice of what you would like to drink and refills are included. Loved the Cherry Blossom Tree!

The food here is amazing. Both times I've gone have been for Chinese food, though they also do a…read moreKorean BBQ which I'm looking forward to trying in the future. They have two different Chinese menus - one of authentic dishes and one of "Canadian-Chinese" food. There's great stuff on both menus though. Tonight we ordered the hot & sour soup and sweet & sour chicken balls from the Canadian-Chinese menu and the gailan & mushrooms and fried lamb with cumin. The hot & sour soup was delicious. The heat was just perfect and while I generally like mine a little more sour, the flavour was still very nicely balanced. It was loaded with tofu, egg & chicken and there was a good amount of pea carrot & bamboo. The chicken balls were the best I've ever had. A generous portion of chicken coated with a thin layer of batter that was deep fried to golden crispiness. I've never had chicken balls that were crispy like that. The sauce was average - not the bright red syrupy stuff but a more reddish-orange jelly consistency that complimented the chicken balls nicely. I really enjoyed the gailan & mushrooms. The plate comes with gailan on one half and shitake mushrooms on the other. The gailan was cooked but still crisp and the mushrooms were sliced and cooked till soft & meaty in texture. The sauce was delicious. The lamb was sliced into thin sheets & stir fried with onion, cilantro, green onion, cumin & other spices. It's a really flavourful and fragrant dish, probably not something you can eat too much of as it's extremely bold. The lamb ranges from really tender to a little bit chewy, as some pieces have a bit of gristle running through them. All in all a really amazing dish. Service was a little slow, and food took a while to come out of the kitchen (we were starting to wonder if they'd forgotten about our lamb as it didn't come out until we were finished with our other dishes.) If you don't look Asian they'll bring you the Canadian-Chinese menu and a plate with knife & fork. If you want the authentic menu or prefer a bowl & chopsticks you'll have to ask. Prices were reasonable. Four dishes and an iced tea came out to $42 after tax, before tip. Rice was included with the meal no charge. I'm looking forward to going back. Also, to eating my left overs, as there was enough food to feed 6 or 7 people, much more than the two of us could manage.

Probably the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Extremely slow service, nobody came to…read morepick up our dirty dishes that were piling up on our table and we had no room to actually eat anything. The appetizers and raw seafood were self serve in a buffet area in unsanitary conditions. Our beef for our all you can eat BBQ was frozen (Did they think we would only eat 1 small plate of mixed meat between the 4 of us?), even the the ice cream was old! The total came out to over $120.00 for 4 all you can eat meals which, in our opinion, was NOT worth it at all. In the end we were all just full on disappointment. I recommend you go eat at the subway or Pizza Hut next door.
