This is my second time here and its good food and the place was empty at 6pm but buy 645pm they had already 40 diners. I ordered the steamed shrimp and steamed rice with vegetables dish and it was yummy...The food was kind of oily but tasty nevertheless. My friend had the fried shrimp with vegetables in an onion sauce with rice on the side. He liked it. I also tried there banana boba juice drink and it's really affordable and well priced. Around 6$ for a juice slush with tapioca balls. Some of the flavors are actually made with real fruits. The banana flavor was not made of real bananas but it was still good and sweet. One more thing I'd like to add is that on the day my friend and I ate there a homeless person walked in and didn't have a lot of money and the owners were very polite to her. I think it's nice that they were willing to take 7 or 8 dollars to feed her some egg rolls and rice.

3.5/5, +.5 for service…read more Winnipeg has a really good range of Pho restaurants especially in the West End, and this place is no exception. The place wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon, and the only reason I chose this place is cause Viva across the street was closed. Oh well, good thing it's Pho alley down here. Either way, I had my go-to for most Pho places I eat at, which is the beef stew noodle soup. They do their noodle soup really well. The broth is flavourful but not overly oily, and the beef stew is chewy but not hard. Definitely one of my favourites I've had so far in this city (and I've had a lot already). Service was also very good; you get a really nice family treatment as well. I'd certainly recommend this place to others.

The interior is more modern and filled with tons of seating. The portions were huge as well! I fed a family of ~8 folks for less than $100. Crazy. It would be double the price back at home. My only critique about this place is that the foods took awhile, and we were given ~30 minute wait. I ordered via phone past 1130AM but didn't get our foods until closer to 1PM. Granted that the restaurant was busy and only one person was working. We were losing our patience but they packed free appetizer for us to make up for it. That was kind of them! Most of us got the large pho beef ball with steak pho and it came with a fat container of noodles + veggies and a big container of soup. The broth was really flavorful. It did make me pretty thirsty afterwards. We had an extra container of soup after we ate everything. Such a good bang for your buck! The rice plates looked good as well. The spring rolls were good - came with delicious peanut sauce that I dipped my bean sprouts in to finish them up. I'd totally come back here and try their other items. I'd probably try to order a bit earlier or away from non peak hours, especially for a large group. Such affordable and delicious Vietnamese foods!
