So we went to yeti snow play for the first time February 21 of 2026. It was a perfect weekend because there was a lot of fresh snow and it was cold but also sunny. So we were so excited to go tubing and play in the snow. We bought our tickets online to reserve a spot. My biggest complaint and issue and that's why there's not five stars, is it took us 2 1/2 hours to go 2 miles from our Airbnb. And when we got to the destination, the parking lot was completely full and we were very, very disheartened that we would have to turn around and take another two hours to get back and then have to come back the next day and hopefully be able to get a spot. I was very disappointed because the infrastructure doesn't seem to be very organized to deal with a big amount of crowds, especially knowing that fresh snow attracts a lot of people at one time. However, I was able to get out of the car and talk to three employees. The first two employees just told me that I can just use my ticket for the next day. But I didn't want to give up so I talked to the third employee, unfortunately I forgot her name, but she told us that since we already had tickets and it wasn't for snowboarding or for skiing that she would make a spot for us for parking. And that just made my day! I was very, very thankful for that because it was going to be very difficult to tell my six-year-old that we weren't gonna go tubing that day. So luckily we were able to get in and park and have some fun! So after finally getting in, I have to say that every staff member that we interacted with was super friendly, super helpful and just very professional. The tubing was super fun for my son. He loved it so much! And the cool thing is that the lines were super short because everyone was skiing and snowboarding. The tubing was super fun and my son went up and down 14 times! There is a little place that you can get food, but we brought our own food since we have allergies. And we were able to find a really nice little bench in the eating area and have our food and it was great. I can't really talk more about the food since we didn't order from there, but it looks like a lot of people are ordering. So for the cost, I think even though it's really high price for what we paid for I think it's worth it because it's a safe and controlled area versus trying to find a random hill to go sledding at. It was nice and definitely we'd love to come back. But when we come back, unfortunately you have to get to the parking lot at 7 AM and you don't start doing any of the tubing until 10 AM so that is unfortunate and that's something that I don't know how we'll plan for that but that's something I wish that they would try to fix her future. But overall, I would say it's a great place to go tubing ski skiing or snowboarding or just playing in the snow. But you need to plan a way ahead and know that it's gonna take you a very long time to get in . I highly recommend buying tickets online! read more

Yeti's snow play is crazy expensive. First $30 to park in a dirt lot. Then for 2 small kids and 2 adults it's almost $300 for a small overcrowded slushy snow. Overall it's an overpriced. Came here on a Sunday morning and it wasn't really crowded. Even in the afternoon as people came, it wasn't crazy at all. Recommend more for younger children because the tubing and sledding were basic. But, it's great if you're just new to snow area, and not looking to do any skiing. We had a great time. The snow is hard so don't expect soft snow to play in the "snow play" area. It was nice that they had fire pits available. The chair lift was a pretty decent length and was our favorite. That costs more money but worth it to buy online at a cheaper price. That part was nice and relaxing. Up there had some soft snow to walk on, but it was dirty due to the previous fire. The restaurant was just okay. Don't expect anything fancy or too fresh. Their hot chocolate is great though. So when we were up there, it was pretty much nothing around or to see as you get off, but we walked past everything a bit and was able to go for a brief hike. Not sure if we were allowed to or not, but it wasn't blocked off and we saw that it had a little trail. Overall would recommend for simple snow play and beginners. Staff was really nice and friendly. I feel a bit mixed on this one. We paid online for 4 tickets a total of $248. We paid $20 parking. We paid $13 for 3 chicken tenders and fries and split it among 4 of us :( for a $281 total for a family of 4. For that much I would hope for more. I wanted to take the kids to see snow. With the years of drought there is no snow around unless you drive several hours in windy mountains. This place create artificial snow and the area outside is dry desert. I'm glad this is even an option. We are paying a premium for the experience. Without this place we have no options for snow play. They are decently staffed. The magic carpet is nice so you dont have to hike up everytime for tubing. The snow is hard and icy. Its not too crowded so the lines move fast and you can keep tubing without wait. The snow play area is small. They charge $69 per person. It's an insane amount for just a little snow in my opinion. The employees directing in the parking lot are not the friendliest. We drove up here to go to the snow and when we arrived there there was no snow. My son really wanted to play in the snow and we decided to give this place a chance. We were there for less than an hour. You also have to pay $20 to park. My son enjoyed it and that's all that mattered. read more

Quite possible the most boring snow experience...even the kids are bored. Only 2 lanes of slush and there's so many carpets on the lane that you stop 1/2 way up the short run. Overall experience was fun there's three main things you can do if you are not a pro ice skater. There's 1.the scenic tram that would take you on the top of the mountain 2. Tubing/sledding 3. access to snow play area This package cost 89 PER PERSON if you pay onsite. Online it would 10dollars less. My family enjoyed every bit of the package, I feel like this area is for kids, if you have a toddler this is the place to go if you are done with the regular places like bigbear and mt.baldy etc and want to check out new places to have fun in the snow, this is the place. Their Yeti mascot comes out like almost every 2hrs to greet people and it will visit all the places. The yeti is very friendly PARKING: infront of the resort, there will be people who will guide you which parking spot to take and its 20$. GRAND VIEW BISTRO To access this area you would need to go up the tram and at the end of it there will be a two story cabin. and upstairs would be the restaurant. They serve SANDWICHES, FLATBREAD PIZZAS, SOUP , chips AND the HOTDRINKS. We had the: chicken bacon ranch sandwhich and its very flavorful! 10/10 Chili soup- 10/10 its very creamy with good amount of meat Pesto chicken flatbread- 7/10, its a bit dry SOUVENIR SHOP- everything is overpriced in my opinion, I bought a SMALL KEYCHAIN ans its 20$. But i get it you are paying for the brand not the quality. TIP: GO TO THE GUEST SERVICES AREA ( located infront of the ticket shop) TO GET DOPE FREE STICKERS, LIKE MINE SO COOL!! OVERALL- i feel like all the activities i mentioned could be done FOR FREE you would just need a sled and tube and go to a nearby park wherein there is snow. This place is sad given the cost. The tubing lanes (just 3 of them) are short (at most, 15 seconds downhill) so the wait is not worth the ride. The snow play area is fine/fun for about an hour in the morning with fresh snow. It is small and confined - got used/dirty soggy rather quickly. The single sledding lane is only for super littles (about 5 yards long downhill) - not what's portrayed. The website only allowed purchase of the $79 ticket that included the lift; we had already skied locally so I wasn't pressed for us to take the lift but did so since we were already charged for it. The view at the summit is indeed pretty; that was the only plus of the excursion. At the top, we purchased 3 sodas at the restaurant...$18 bill! The server and I both laughed that the pricing is worse than any airport!! Parking was $20, and the staff is hit or miss. If Wrightwood hadn't suffered through recent horrible fires and a tough snowboard/ski season I would be incredibly annoyed that I wasted my money. Perhaps we came on a bad day when there was little snow. We bought tickets for "Tubing, Sledding & Snow Play" for $59 per person. High price for low experience. This day we really only had sledding. They let us go to the scenic chair lift once, just once to make up for not having tubing. 1st: There was no "snow play", it was just a slightly small hill with hard frozen snow. We were told we couldn't do snow ball fights, and we couldn't bring the sleds from the other side to slide down. The "snow play" side was also super slippery, so beware of that. 2nd: There was no tubing. 3rd: sledding was okay, tracks weren't long. Don't expect some crazy thrill. I think kids would enjoy more. We tired to make the best of the experience but the whole thing took us about 1-2 hour before we got bored after repeatedly going on the small sledding track. Best part was definitely the scenic chair lift. Sadly we only got to ride it once the whole time. The employees were nice and friendly, my review is not directed towards them at all. They deserve 5 stars. I recommend this location for kids and to go during more snowy days. Also, if there's days like this where there's no tubing and little snow, at the very least staff should let guests ride scenic chair lift all day, you can't expect us to only go sledding the whole time. read more

Very disappointing...We drove from LA for the day so my daughter could see her first snow. The online video looked great so I was hoping all the reviews were just being a bit harsh. They weren't. The video and reality were two completely different things. As others had said, the "snow play" area was very small and dirty. There was no sledding area (or sleds) and the tubing lanes were short and not worth the wait time. We had planned to let her play, etc, have some lunch and play after (since the entry price was $75) but after looking at the food (which I'm not crazy picky but the food looked inedible) we decided to leave. Allister, this one is for you. The customer service and hygiene practice by the cook associated with the snow play was subpar, specifically the angeles crest cafe. Miscommunication is a part of some of the interactions that occur between staff and customers, and without proper social skills, Allister decided to display a lack of professional courtesy. Having a set schedule of hours would leave no room for confusion but to berate customers who were charged and paid for their food is not the answer. Additionally, Allister needs to be reminded of the protocols for cooking food and handling consumables with proper hygiene, that includes not eating over the grill while you are cooking other people's food. read more

Told her the problem we were having and instead of just charging us online prices at the window, she just kept telling us we were doing it wrong and that the site was working all day. This was our first visit to Yetis Snow Play. After looking at the website we thought it would be a great place to bring the kids for a day of fun. However we were disappointed with the lack of activities and in reality the actual size of the snow play area. Much smaller than it appears in the photos on the website. The snow was more like crushed ice but I don't think I can fault them for the weather. One of the drawbacks of the area is when the wind came up it would blow a cloud of dust and dirt off the hills across the street onto the snow play area making the snow dirty. Obviously this doesn't happen with there is snow on the hills, however this is what occurred the day of our visit (Early February). I don't recommend Yeti Snow Play mainly because the price (70.00/person - 60.00/person online) and $20.00 to park is way out of line for what you actually get for the money. I never take the time to write reviews but I felt it was needed for this place. First off prices are CRAZY! $69 tubing for adults and kids and it was sooo crowded that the lines were about 40 minutes to go down just once. But that wasn't even my main problem. I went with my 2 kids, ages 4 &9. My 4 year old wasn't allowed to hook onto my tube to slide down together, even though I saw a bunch of people hooking on to their Littles. I was told he was too tall and he wouldn't ride down by himself (he was too scared by himself). So I went and tried to exchange my sons $69 tubing ticket to the snowplay ticket and they said he was also too tall to just get the snowplay ticket ($30) instead. To get just the snowplay pass you have to be under 36 inches. So pretty much to play in the little pile of snow I had to pay $69 for myself and $69 for my son and I couldn't enjoy my time with my 9 year old, she had to go sledding by herself. What was supposed to be a fun family day was a nightmare and drained my pockets $207 1 adult, 2 kids. read more
