Speaking of Falls, did you know Niagara Falls is just a few miles away? But that's beside the point. I've shopped here twice, I think, although I lose track of all the different stalls. Natalie's Tamales (Instagram natalies_tamles). Met her at an Yelp event and fell in love with the tamales and sauces. Having southern roots been hard to find a good tamale, but Natalie has nailed it. The pork and chicken tamales are delicious! Like I said the weather was not the best, but I was still surprised at how many vendors were there. Ranging from fresh sausage, fruits, vegetables, sweets, cheeses and wine and alcohol. I met a chef, Chef Scott Bernard. (Instagram goodneighborflavor) He has a stand with balavka, original and brown sugar cinnamon. They both were tasty, the brown sugar cinnamon was my favorite. He was very friendly. He told me he does catering, and four course private dinners, as well as opening a Bistro in Cheektowaga coming soon. I love going and meeting new vendors. I went there at 930 because I had to to be to work later on in the day. This being said my husband called to complain about this this and also ask why they didnt answer the phone to even let someone know when they were clearly there, and the reply was because they were debating on when to open. If they were going to open at 930 or Noon. Are you serious!!!!! Then they said it was out of there hands on how to let customers know when they are or are not open. If thats how you are going to run your business fine. I will not be buying here again. The cream cheese cookie was by far my favourite thing we got. So much so, I'm currently looking up recipes on how to make cream cheese cookies lol. The butter tart was delicious but omg sooo sweet. I really should not have ate the whole thing at once because it was a little much lol. Note, only eat half in a day lol. I wasn't a fan of the cheesecake cookie bar. I love cheesecake but I didn't love the blend with the cookie. I'm sure someone else would like this but it wasn't to my tastebuds' liking. Finally, the milk chocolate chip cookie was perfect. Warmed up for 10 seconds made it even better. Has a bit of a crunch on the outside with an ooey gooey chewy centre. A perfect cookie. All items cost around $20, which I think is fair as we got 5 items. The woman helping us was extremely kind and friendly, which took this review to 5 stars. She was so sweet. It was $1/ear of corn, so comparable to a suburban farmer's market. A scoop of ice cream was $6/7! They have large, firm but juicy heirloom tomatoes.. And I wouldn't forget to try the fudge at the counter!
