I do like this place for a number of reasons.
Firstly the staff are great which is always helpful and are quite chatty. I believe its family run, and, the guy whom I can only assume is the Dad, always takes time to banter with my parents in Hindi no less, which they appreciate, and find amusing.
The food is good, a decent (yeah i know thats a stupid adjective) indo-chinese mix and a high amount of variety for the Veggies in the group (ie pretty much everyone!). Its also not too expensive (cant give you an amount cos my father-in-law paid - wooh!!), and you cant go wrong with reasonably priced beers :)
The service is bare quick (yep, I said 'bare', but its East London so Im allowed), and this place is always quite busy, so bookings for large groups may be a good idea.
The deep-fried food was a bit too deep fried/greasy for me so I stayed away from some of the aubergine stuff my wife talks about in her review.
Would I come back? Already have :) read more
