The restaurant has a modern look and feel with a terrace for the 'summer'. Expect a friendly welcome and decent service to follow. Last visit we had a soup and the mix starter which has five different things to nibble at. I followed-up with duck and fresh mango, and my partner had scampi in a spicy sauce. The cooking is good and the ingredients are fresh. I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a decent mid priced Vietnamese restaurant. Other: * They also do Vietnamese hotpot for two people minimum. * Parking will be a challenge, 25/94 trams are a better option.

There's a lot of completion in this with several other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but this one is definitely my favorite. Some of my favorite dishes are les dim sum, bun rieu soup, nam mon VN, Tom Nuong xa (my favorite), ga Nuong cari.. As I list of my favorites I realize I haven't tried anything I don't like from here! The space is very modern and during the summers sitting outside on the patio is quite lovely. I love how the female servers wear traditional Vietnamese dresses and the space is surrounded by artwork painted by the owner. It's slightly more pricey, but the quality of food is superb! This is a great place for a date night. Don't forget about dessert either! Try lunch for a cheaper prix fixe!

You get to choose your protein and even decide if you want it as part of a combo meal (with wonton soup or nems or crispy shrimp, etc.) et voila! We also really enjoy their nems (fried eggrolls) and the wonton soup (the wontons are very flavourful and outta this world)! Note: they take cash and no card at the cashier area, but they do have an online system that takes card - and you can order it for your table as well! They also speak English so for my fellow non-francophones, fret not! Seating is also first-come, first-served so depending on when you get there you may have to wait for a seat. Overall, a great local establishment worth supporting!

It starts with the crunchiest, perfectly buttery baguette and then it just takes off from there with perfectly seasoned fillers. Do yourself a favor and just order two. You won't regret it. Their noodle bowls were good too. P.S. Yes, I haven't been to Vietnam, but I'm working on it!!

The bun bo hue was DELICIOUS - flavorful, not oily, right amount of spicy, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It was a nice surprise to have a good authentic Vietnamese meal in Brussels that is better than New York City. If I lived here, I'd be a regular. They serve all the Vietnamese classics but also some Thai-inspired Pad Thai that I didn't try (would rather do it in a real Thai restaurant as their Viet cuisine is tasty enough). Strengths: the interior that is very nice and cosy, the friendly service (waiter was very helpful for our neighbours who were discovering Vietnamese food for the first time) and the mild prices. Weaknesses: their teas and deserts. They show off a good looking range of different teas at the bar and in their menu. However some were not available to order anymore. The ones we had were not strong enough (too much water, very small tea leaves/petals mix). No much choice next to ice creams for the desert. Opportunity: introduce the "three colours" again. Simple to prepare and so refreshing.

Deliveries from here are decent, timely and reasonably good value for money. As for the sit-down version, the place lacks the restaurant feel and you should really not expect too much. What you get here is the same as what is delivered to your doorstep but with a neater presentation. In a sense it is all about the frame of mind you are in. If you don't expect more than average food, as is the case with any delivery food, then this is a cheap and passable meal. As a restaurant proper, it fails to meet expectations and is at best average. The cuts of meat are quite poor; duck with fatty un-crisp skin, chicken from frozen and the sauces have that artificial bulk produced feel. On the plus side service is friendly and food comes relatively quickly, so as a 'quick' bite it works out ok. Anything else and you will be left disappointed.
