We decided to go to Zea's on W. ESPLANADE. It was obvious they were busy as most of the lot was full. The first thing we noticed was the new interior renovations. It was definitely brighter and open since the last time we were here. We finally got sat at a table, wasnt a long wait. Our server, (young lady named Taylor) was our server. She was very friendly, inviting personality and made you feel welcomed. We started off with drinks and the Hummus appetizer. Never seen a big appetizer like this, it was perfect for 3 even 4 ppl and very good. It was served with warm pita slices. I remember they served cucumber slices upon request, not sure if they still do that. The lunch entrees were Almond chicken salad for my wife. Our friend ordered the Thai rib plate and I had the Crispy duck. As far as I know, my food was excellent, the duck was well cooked and moist. The Thai ribs are usually always good, no doubt that has changed, I stole one of my friends ribs. It went to good use. My wife said the main salad was good, but she feels the chicken itself lacked flavor, but since this is my review, only my opinion matters, lol. The Thai ribs were very good. I love the corn grits and the zea potatoes. For me, I feel this was my best meal I've had all year so far. Would I come back? Heck yeah. You buying? I overall, love the change. The new menu and decor is a hit for me.

There is no warning that the prices could be higher, whether verbal or written! When we spoke to the junior manager and server, we were given an excuse saying that because we ordered off the kid's menu that they didn't think we would care if the prices were raised or that there would be an up-charge but that was not communicated nor was it a real policy? This better get fixed, because some customers might take this even more seriously. It's an easy fix, the children's menu is literally made of paper, just print new ones.

The terminal is NOLA inspired with Jazz music, plenty of bars, coffee shops, and of course a Cafe Du Monde. Like all airports pricing for food, beverages, and snacks is on the expensive side. Well, we are a captive audience. Security is a breeze especially if you have TSA or Clear. The restrooms are very clean even during the busiest times. The ride share area is across the street from baggage claim and is well organized.
