As first-time…read morehomebuyers from out of town, there was a lot of stuff that was entirely new to us, and Erin did a great job of walking us through everything we needed to do and when we need to have it done by. Further, as the type of person who likes to plan things out, and who can react poorly to unexpected negative events, Erin did a very good job of talking me off the ledge at times and explaining the various possible eventualities. Everything (document reviews and signings, etc.) was done electronically, with a minimum of fuss. Erin also recommended all the various inspectors and such required, who were all very good, and took responsibility for being at the house when needed. We unfortunately were dealing with sellers who made misrepresentations on some of their disclosures, as well as (in my opinion) at best incompetent and at worst dishonest seller-side agents (Watson Realty - be warned!). But Erin was helpful in advising us on how to make sure they lived up to their obligations, even when they were resistant or delaying in fulfilling their responsibilities. My one piece of advice (true in any case, I'd guess) is to understand that your realtor is a repeat player in the industry, and therefore will naturally be less aggressive than you want them to be -- don't feel like (as I did early on) you're being unreasonable when you want to take a harder line than your realtor advises at first, you're just protecting your investment. I would not be surprised if they violated real estate practices, ethically and professionally. They were rude, working strictly on behalf of the the buyer, they kept asking for more items to be included in the sell without any further increase in the sale amount and this is after I offered all furniture in both dwellings; they asked me to add in my $3,000.00 riding lawnmower, another $400.00 battery power lawnmower to go with the sale. Carol Quinn, modified my finance agreement on the first mortgage to carry the balance leftover for the sale. Not only was the mortgage agreement she tried to force on me unprofessional it was disrespectful. After confronting her on many occasions, she continued in her rant about why she modified my agreement which was heavily slanted towards the buyer. She is not a mortgager, nor an accountant, nor an underwriter. This back and forth wasted days, towards closing. I confronted Jimmy Littlejohn the owner and he did nothing to stop this out-of-control realtor in Carol Quinn. I requested another realtor, he gave me one, but kept Carol Quinn in the process until the end and I still had to deal with her rudeness and disrespect. I'm on the fence in reporting this entire crew to the governing board of Florida realtors and the Florida Professional Board of Regulations. Catherine Thompson, the so called replacement for Carol Quinn was just as rude, nonresponsive and a terror to work with. Do not do business with NORTH FLORIDA REAL ESTATE PARTNERS. This place and these people are not good people. The spirit of the so called real esate company is simply DARK!

From the negotiation to closing, they were right there with us, including every inspection. They helped manage the home inspection process, worked in concert with the mortgage broker, home builder, and even helped us find the right homeowners insurance.
