I love Yellow Dog Espresso. Every time I make my way down there I make sure to stop by. The service is always great as well as drinks and food.

Don't blink because you'll miss it! It's one of the mini trailers (one of the brilliant ideas I've come to love since visiting OR). There's two sides to the coffee shop, both with drive thru windows. The woman at the window that helped us was so kind the entire time. Drinks and food came out quick and everything was reasonably priced. Iced Vanilla Soy Latte: - It had your caffeine that's for sure. However, I prefer my coffee to taste like coffee with a splash of vanilla. Not the other way around. - I saw 2 non-dairy options, soy and almond. - Comes with a reusable straw! Iced Mocha: - Same as the vanilla latte - had the coffee kick and was really good! Great food options to eat while on the road! The bagel was toasted and had plenty of cream cheese. They had different bagel options too. My husband had the breakfast burrito with salsa and he said that was good as well. I would definitely come back if in the area again. Especially for the coffee

    I. Love. This. Place! Don't let the fact that this place is in the middle of nowhere fool you. It's amazing! My friend lives around this area and she brought me here after 2 years of living in the area and I'm kind of mad at her for depriving me of Yellow Dog Espresso during that time. The staff are amazingly friendly and the food is bomb. I'm not much of a hot coffee person but their blended lattes and their blended coffees are so freaking good. Don't even bother going to Dutch Bro's nearby (and I LOVE Dutch Bro's.) ...this little hole in the wall deserves all of your money and time!

My chai tea and my husband's cafe latte were delicious. Great and fast service. Perfect stop in the middle of the road.

Ms. K. and I stopped here on our way out of town last weekend. It is right on the junction of 101 and 22 and we've passed it 100 times, but never stopped. Ms. K. got a vanilla latte and I got a mocha. Meh. First of all they were *blazing* hot. It took probably 20-30 minutes before we could even sip them. Which can be good, but generally I'd like to be able to drink my coffee relatively close to when I get it. My mocha was quite a bit sweeter than I'd like. Then when I finally got to the bottom, it was kind of lumpy and syrupy. Weird, really. Suffice it to say that neither Ms. K. nor I finished our drink, which is sad. Pros: There really are (two) yellow dogs! Also, the blueberry muffin was very good. These two things are almost enough to bring it up to three stars, but probably not quite.

    The yellow dog!

Glad we didn't find a Bucks. This place delivered a dynamite iced americano and iced mocha. Great little spot for a pick-me-up.

Best blended mocha in Tillamook County, period. Wish the hours opened were more, but such is life on the Oregon Coast.

He proceeded to want to fight me outside the bar and kept interjecting when I was having a conversation with the bartender. The bartender and I were having a cordial conversation and learning where each other came from. She had told me she had came from Bend which was kind of cool because I had just came from bend earlier in my travels. The man said he had a grudge against me from the previous day where we had maybe a 2-minute conversation about pretty much nothing and he walked away. I thought that was the end of it. I came in today to get some food. Some sweets and a few drinks and head home like a normal human being. This man wanted to deal with his psychological issues pertaining to yesterday's incident when I had no recollection of said incident. I told him I knew nothing about what he was talking about the day before and that he seemed like a good-hearted person and we could have a good conversation. He proceeded to tell me that wasn't the case and that he wanted to have words and physically harm me in some way outside. He then was talked to by the bartenders and left without incident. I just don't understand how people can be the way they are when all I'm trying to do is have a nice summer vacation for myself and Liv in a way that keeps the peace. On a side note, the food is delicious. They have good prices on alcoholic drinks and their pastries are phenomenal. Just watch out if you see a bald guy that works there cuz I don't want other people to have to deal with that kind of confrontation. I hope everybody stays safe and that this person gets the type of help he needs to move through life. Cordially.

The building is full of…read morelight and has one wall with the boards from board game for wallpaper which is a lot of fun to check out. Their pizza is really good with a flavorful sauce that isn't sweet and the perfect amount of toppings with a homemade crust. That being said We have decided we will only order pizza at Megs from here on out, as everything else we've tried (except the tots) just don't work for us. We've tried the Italian sub my hubby liked it but they grilled it and he's not a fan of hot subs, the meatloaf sandwich which was meatloaf shaped in a patty and fried like a burger (not great and one end wasn't completely cooked) the Caesar wrap which had too much dressing and was grilled so the lettuce inside was warm, limp and disgusting, the Philly steak and cheese sandwich was not shaved meat but appeared to be the parts you trim off and throw away, not one bite of meat I wanted to eat, big fatty chunks, grissly and a weird texture with only very few slices of pepper and onion (I took the bun off and looked because I couldn't bite through a single piece of meat after the third bite and wanted to see what it looked like). We have not tried the burgers but the pizzas are good and the desserts are fabulous. The service is hit and miss. Sometimes there are 2 people "working" but you have to go to the bar to order as they stand behind it and chat, sometimes it's one person and they handle everything fine (with the same amount of customers). When we are at the beach we are just chillin most of the time so it's not a problem we are just never sure if we are supposed to self serve or wait for a server. But If you are in Pacific City and want a good pizza with homemade crust Megs is your place and if you have a sweet tooth the pastry cooler will provide the perfect treat to finish or start your day at the beach!

While there aren't a huge number of dining options in town, we never felt like we were settling. In fact, we looked forward to coming back each time. If you're a beer lover, you'll be in heaven. Their selection is extensive, with everything from crisp pilsners to rich stouts, making it easy to find something that suits your taste. The location is simply unbeatable. Nearly every table offers a view of the Pacific Ocean, and if you're lucky enough to grab a seat on the patio (my favorite spot), you're practically sitting on the beach. Watching the waves roll in while enjoying a meal is hard to top. Despite being incredibly busy, every server we had was friendly, attentive, and worked incredibly hard. The only minor downside was that the restaurant appeared to be a little understaffed. There were times when empty tables were visible, yet the wait was still 20-30 minutes. Honestly, though, we didn't mind. Any excuse to sit outside, people-watch, or simply stare out at the ocean is time well spent. The food was consistently excellent throughout our visits. We sampled the clam chowder, fish and chips, Backyard BBQ burger, cheeseburger, oyster shooters (both the Mignonette and Spicy Mary), and the cheese curds. My favorites were easily the clam chowder and the fish and chips--both were outstanding and exactly what you hope for when dining on the Oregon Coast. Even if beer isn't your thing, the cocktail menu is worth exploring. I ordered the Tsunami Warning, a refreshing blend of rum, pineapple and lime juices, ginger beer, and Pelican's Tsunami Stout. It's definitely a unique cocktail that won't be for everyone, but I'm glad I gave it a try. My biggest regret? Never saving room for dessert. Every time I saw one pass by our table, it looked incredible, but I was always too full to order one. That's just one more reason to come back. If you're visiting Pacific City, I highly recommend stopping by the original Pelican Brewing Company. Between the incredible oceanfront setting, excellent food and drinks, and welcoming service, it's a place that's easy to return to again and again.

Came to pick up our expensive "to go" order. Could not find a parking spot anywhere. They have a…read morepick up window but it is not open. So we had to go in. There is no dedicated parking for pick up orders. The order was more than what is on the "take out" menu from their website. When I asked about the price increase she said it was a "surcharge." (Had a bit of attitude when I asked about it as well. I just paid it cause I didn't want to argue when there was a line of people.) There is NO MENTION of a take out "surcharge" and it shows up on the receipt as "tax." There is no state tax in Oregon or a city tax in Pacific City. The food was not a good value for the money. Lettuce wrapped burger was wrapped with brown lettuce. The coleslaw was like mayo soup. I will say the fish in the fish and chips were good and the ranch was good but that was it. There is a lot of room for improvement. Starting in the parking lot!
