Then he changed his mind and briskly gave me a second number and told me to call that guy - then hung up. I called the second number and Fred said he would be there in 20 minutes. He showed up 40 minutes later. Luckily we weren't in a hurry. He was very friendly and courteous. We were 4 adults laughing and joking around and Fred got right into the spirit. He dropped us off at the party and when I called him for a ride home 7 hours later - at midnight - he was there in 10 minutes. On the way home someone suggested we stop at In'N'Out for a burger. Fred was perfectly happy to do so - we tried to buy him a burger, but he only wanted a lemonade. We got our burgers and ate on the way home. The nice thing is that they charge a flat fee - by the mile. So when there was an accident on the freeway and we got caught in the backup and crawled along for 15 minutes - it didn't cost any extra - no meter. When he picked us up - we knew exactly what the cost was going to be. All-in-all it was a great experience. I haven't used a cab in many years, so I wasn't sure what it would cost, but we all agreed that his price was reasonable. The only downside was it took him twice as long to pick us up as he had quoted and he had a mid-sized car - a little tight for 4 adults. Other wise great service. The dispatcher was pleasant and the taxi arrived in less than 10 minutes. Pretty fast; I was impressed! The car was clean and smelled good. My driver was Chris. I've had issues with feeling unsafe before, with other drivers, but my driver was very safe. Rate was reasonable. This is a good alternative to my standard Uber and Lyft usage. I will use be using Blacks again, in the future, when I'm in the area.

We probably tried every company in the Menifee and surrounding areas while trying to get our car fixed. Gary, the owner, was always on time, always went out of his way to be helpful in any way he could; using his smartphone to help us find a rental car company one time, and picked us up from one that wouldn't work without any extra charge. He went way out of his way to help us when we needed it. You don't find people like that in business very often anymore. To cap it off, I accidentally left my purse in the taxi and he protected it from another passenger he had picked up after us who said it was hers (I could hear her in the background when he called me, insisting it was her purse - he shut her down) and drove to our home to deliver it to me. He is honest and considerate; he even helped carry our groceries to the house multiple times which is a fair distance from our driveway. He waited without charging us while we went to the grocery store. I couldn't be happier with the service of this company. Call Gary, he won't let you down.

I called 2 times for a pick up. 2nd time he was North of Hemet doing errands, in San Jacinto. Said he would be back in another hour or so. We took the city bus back. Both of us are handicapped. They kept saying there was traffic that delayed the driver. That's not what the driver told me and there was NO traffic in either direction. It should be noted that I was picked up around 11-pm on a Sunday. I also asked what the source was for their stating there was "traffic" but they wouldn't tell me. To avoid feeling stranded I'll try using a different ride sharing service in the future. I usually use UBer but my app was not working. The taxi was waiting at the Stampede in Old Town Temecula. I asked if he had a fare already and the driver told me he was available. As we started driving I asked if I could use my card since usually I don't carry cash. He said no, but he could drive me to an ATM. Then as I'm about to get out of the taxi he tells me the fare would be $20 plus tip. Now the cost seemed really fishy to me. At this point I just wanted to get home.
