A HUGE "F*** You!" To Yellow Cab and every other cab company in Stockton that wouldn't answer their phones for a ride request when my flight into Stockton Airport was delayed by 3 hours and y'all decided to pack it in early. I and several other passengers were saved from sleeping overnight on benches outside the terminal by a few benevolent airport employees who offered to give us rides home at the end of their shifts. It's easy to see why this buisness model is becoming non existent. I ordered a cab early in the day to get picked up at five. Recieved a call at 520, saying that they would be here on half an hour. Now I'm going to be late, thinking I planned ahead. Would not recommend to anyone trying to make a time line. read more

I wonder why uber and lyft are taking taxis business. You have to hope the taxi is telling the truth about the arrival time and hope there's not tooo much traffic if he's running late. My suggestion is to take a uber as they are usually around the corner and can't lie to you about when they are getting there. I guess you could call another company but it could get worce. If you want to be on time perhaps you should call a different company for pick up. Price more expensive than a uber as uber doesn't have the over head with commercial insurance and business license most of the time uber is right around the corner except for the night time. read more

Try downloading the Uber app as they tell you exactly where the driver is. Plus they text you when they are close. Yellow Cab charges twice as much as all cabs do or close to double read more

In a town of three hundred thousand you'd think that a taxi would be available. But i could be wrong as it is a bankrupt town and even hard to get a uber or lyft at times. When a time everyone is using an app or mabey not everyone but a lot of people are downloading the Uber or Lyft app. Still Yellow Cab doesn't have an app as far as I know in Stockton. No they are not affiliated with Yellow cab of San Francisco. In the Bay area you can get any where at any time try doing that in Stockton just try. Bus stops at 6pm or something like that. I never even got to experience one of their cabs. I called and got a rather rude dispatcher. I told him I didn't know the address of the store I was at and gave him my work address across the street. I told him I didn't have them come to my work since it's gated and to me a hassle to direct a cab back to where I'm at. The dispatcher rudely told me he's picked up quite a few people at my work and its no problem as if I'm lying to him. He then gave me an eta of 30 min. Being previously from the Sacramento area that's not the best nor the worst eta I've seen for a taxi on a Saturday. After about 5 min of mulling over the dispatchers attitude I decided heck with it and tried Lyft. I was home in about half the time it would have taken for the taxi to just show up. Mabey they could text when they are on the way. Knowing when the taxi is coming is very helpful. Having knowledge of the streets is nice when you have a professional business. The less the hassle the better for the customer. If the driver makes a mistake don't charge the rider for it. If I could give -5 stars I would. So I called this cab company 20 mins before I needed to be picked up from. They told me it would be 30 mins I told the lady that was fine well 37 mins later I called back asking when my cab would be there and she told me she was working on it. Another hour goes by and I call back n she told me that she tryed to call me twice but my phone never rang nor did she leave me a voice mail when she asked if I would still like a cab I said yes can u at least give me a discount she told me no that's up to the driver.... I declined their services and will never call them again........... I ended up using another cab company and since they arrived within mins of me calling I gave the guy a $20 tip...... read more

I was eating another great lunch at Casa Flores restaurant in downtown Stockton. I asked my waiter to call a cab for me. He called Yellow Cab. I asked for a 2:30 pm pick-up. They were a few minutes late so I docked them a star. I had a very pleasant ride to the airport. I know who I will call in the future. read more

Called 3 times and each time got a recording saying we will answer you shortly and each time was promptly disconnected.

My father and child were stuck at the airport due to a flight cancellation. Yellow Cab was the first place I called and they said it would take them 20 minutes to get the airport. After requesting the service, they called 10 minutes later to let me know that the cab was en route. Within 20 minutes, they called again stating that the cab was at the airport. The gentleman who was assisting me the entire time then stayed on the phone with me and confirmed that my father and child were in the cab before hanging up the phone. AMAZING service and definitely provided me with much comfort that my family was in good hands. read more
