John is always honest about when he can pick you up and picks you up at the estimated time quoted. This seems commonplace, but many other taxi services provide far inferior service. If you want reliable service with a good driver at a price comparable to Green or Blue Cab, I highly recommend choosing Amazing Taxi. Green Cab will say they're 20 minutes away and then take an hour to get to you (with no explanation or apology).

I needed to get to Lodi this afternoon to pick up my car from the mechanic. The arrangements I had…read morefor a ride fell through. I was almost in the midst of panic. Then it hit me...a rideshare service, of course. Being new to this I figured I would check out both Uber and Lyft. Lyft was cheaper so that's what I picked. I was charged $12 from far n/e Stockton to the center of Lodi. I thought that was fair. I gave my driver, Vinnie, five stars. He was a good driver with a clean car and ice cold air conditioning! We chatted it up all the way. The app said my driver will be there in 15 minutes and he was. He was based in Lodi so he drove from Lodi to pick me up and then back to Lodi. The app is kind of cool. On the map you can see his little car making progress on the freeway! I liked using Lyft also because they are kind of the underdog to Uber. Also, the Uber app tracks you even when you're not using their service. That is verboten. I will not put up with that. I have no reservations using Lyft again when I'm in a pinch. The amount I was charged was probably less than I would've paid my pre-arranged ride for gas!
