This repeatedly happened for over 45 minutes. In a pinch I called Gold Cab. The owner (?) picked up the phone right away and said they would arrive in 20 minutes. They showed up in under 10. To he honest I was nervous to call an independent cab company, worried they would leave me stranded. I think most people are so used to getting a ride through an app that we now want to see the drivers' profile before the actual ride. However he showed up, had a clean mini- van cab, and didn't subject us to loud music or talking loudly on the phone. I am so incredibly grateful Gold Cab was ready and available to pick us up during our emergency. Please note: They were super helpful in a pinch, however as other reviews noted, prices are much higher than a ride-share. I was a little in shock over the price for an 8 mile ride, but it was after midnight at that point. Reliable and personable, I would definitely call them again if need be.

The person arrived timely and was pleasant. The total was close to what I was quoted (we knew there would be a little variation depending on miles driven). I recommend this company highly and regret all the other negative reviews! I am very very thankful this service exists or I would have had to walk 8 miles on a dangerous road. Not worth the risk.

I…read moreasked if he could provide transportation from Auburn Airport to Grass Valley Airport for 5 pax and bags. He said yes. I told him that I would call to verify when I was departing Van Nuys Airport, which I did...I told him we would be there between 1pm and 1:15pm. He said that he would be there at 12:30, and I advised that was not neccesary. He insisted. I called him at 1:13pm to advise him that we had landed and found out that he had just left the airport and my party was stranded, all because he got tired of waiting and want to go make money. I had lived up to my agreement and he left!!! It was Sunday and transportation was sparse. I ended up getting another shuttle after an Hour and a half, but eventually made it to my destination. Thanks for the frustration and anxiety! I would never recommend this company! Or anything they are associated with. When I told the other shuttle driver what had happened, he already knew who I was talking about!!! I should have investigated before I put all my trust in this company!!!
