This is never happened before I did notice I decline care. The office girl been there from the beginning is great and I feel bad for her and I will miss her the hygienist. I a few friends to them. I got enough credit to cover the entirety of the procedure however after the initial work done(was a root canal) it is was about $600 more than what I had anticipated to pay that time so I have not been able to complete my root canal. Now I have the temporary cap and cannot afford to get a crown. Had I known I would have tried to get approved for more credit. Unfortunately my financial situation had changed and I was not able to. Wish they were more transparent about cost before performing a service. I have a feeling this is going to cause some issues for me in the future.

Any time I'm there in person or I call everyone is friendly and it makes for a really positive experience. In terms of skill, it seems like Dr. Shoff knows exactly what he's doing. And while I'm treatment my regular dentist was involved and behind the scenes they discuss my treatment. When I'm there for an appointment it doesn't matter which assistant I get because they're all awesome! I usually have questions because I'm a curious person and they can answer my questions or they write down the question to ask Dr. Shoff if it's beyond their scope. The awesome thing is that now that I'm done treatment I can still go back. For example, I got a filling on a tooth and my retainer didn't fit right. I was able to make an appointment and get new impressions done and a week later (only because that's how my schedule worked out) I got my new retainers. I highly recommend Dr. Shoff if you're looking into braces! Like I said, he is awesome!

Here are some of the things I like about Dr. Schmidt's office: +All the staff, including Dr. Schmidts, are very friendly. +It is expensive (as it is an orthodontic treatment), but they are pretty transparent about the fees. +They give you a discount if you pay in full (instead of installment). I got a 5% discount for paying cash upfront. As it costs several thousand dollars, 5% actually means something. +Dr. Schmidt's office is across the street/parking lot from my son's dentist, Dr. Piper, which is pretty convenient. When my son has a cleaning appointment at Dr. Piper's office, he goes to Dr. Schmidt's office to take off the wires first. After cleaning at Dr. Piper's office, he goes back to Dr. Schmidt's office to have the wires put back in! I'm pretty happy with all the services they have provided. They also appreciate seeing improvements with their teeth and bite as the months pass. Put the bite block in my mouth and it immediately starts burning increasingly. I try to tough it out but two minutes later she's putting blue stuff on each tooth and I'm telling her I can't stand it anymore, it burns. She says "we just sanitize them and rinse them with water" totally disregarding that my mouth is burning, badly. I tell her to TAKE IT OUT. "But we'll have to start all over again." This lady clearly doesn't care that someone left something chemical on this bite block and it's HURTING me. I start to get up at that point and finally she's like "okay okay, one minute" and takes each tool out of my mouth with no haste. I get up and tell her again that it's burning down my throat now, and I need water. She shows me the sink and I proceed to cough and rinse. To top it off, this gal talks to me like I'm a 6 year old. It's condescending. When they start again the next bite block is fine. Someone screwed up and left something on the first one. Dr. Veltkamp specifically is professional and works quickly.

I have never had braces and it would be rather unusually for me as I am no longer a teenager. I was a bit apprehensive when I must see an orthodontist as you could imagine. My first free consultation visit was most amazing! In my first visit, I have a reserved parking space in front of the office with my first name on the signpost - the first time in my life with such a VIP treatment. I did not have to wait long, and the check-in was exceptionally smooth because my dentist already had forwarded my records to the clinic. Dr. Cummins was soft spoken, patient, and very professional. I had many x-rate pictures on my teeth in every conceivable angles taken and the doctor showed me the pictures when he explained to me what work could be done. I was given several options and the pros and cons of which - he did not advise me for the most expensive ones due to my age and the solution I finally chose was the one I was most comfortable with. This visit was free, and I have no obligation to follow-up with the advice. The next visit was the beginning of the actual work, and it was much better than what I had anticipated. I have minimal inconvenience and could drink and eat with my new braces almost immediately. Better yet no one can tell I have braces unless I smile so I will try to keep my straight face most of the time! The metal braces I chose is much cheaper and sturdier than the more expensive transparent one that the orthodontist did not convince me to get. This is professionalism. All the staff in the clinics were all very friendly and helpful. This is a very well-run clinic, and I will be going back to them in the next 18 months (about 1 and a half years). I will give an update after my treatment is complete. Please accept my sincere appreciation to the doctor and staff for my office visits and safe care I had received so far.

There are some orthos in town who charge a ridiculous amount and do far more work than is needed. We also decided to go the same route as our friend and get 2 opinions. We had our appointment with Dr Cummins today. Our other consult (with another ortho) is in 2 months. That's the soonest we could get in. Score ease of appointments to Dr. Cummins. At our appointment we were greeted with a personalized parking space. My daughter enjoyed that. The staff was friendly and super nice. I found Dr. Cummins to be thorough, have an excellent bedside manner and he explained things really well. We are waiting another 6 months (he didn't recommend immediate action) but I already know we'll come back to see Dr. Cummins. I'm not sure why so many of his reviews are hidden, despite being written by experienced Yelp reviewers. On other websites he has a very favorable rating.
