From the time I walked in, I knew this place was special. It was clean, well decorated, with designated spaces designed to enhance the experience. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival and check in, I was offered a warm robe and slippers. They provide lockers for your personal belongings. The women's area was very clean and well organized, complete with showers and toiletries for your needs. Throughout the facility, there were stations for beverages, coffee, tea, and water. While I waited for my aesthetician, I sat by a wonderful fireplace and just relaxed. When Anna came to get me for my facial, I was led to a private room. I can't stress enough how wonderful the ambience is in the spa. It promotes relaxation and peace of mind, both of which I needed. Anna was polite and attentive, and listened to my needs, and concerns. She even offered advice on a manicure I'd received from a different place a couple of days prior where my cuticles were sore, red and swollen. I only wish I had found Radiance Day Spa sooner! I'll definitely go there for my next manicure. After my facial, I was extremely relaxed. It included an arm and hand massage and neck. My skin was very smooth and moisturized afterwards. I was very pleased with the overall experience. I suppose the true test of great service is if the customer returns. I will definitely be back to Radiance Day Spa the next time I'm in Sioux Falls. Thank you, ladies for a wonderful facial and much needed relaxation.

As I live an hour from town I rescheduled but thought that it was awesome that she took time out to warn me to ensure my safety. Obviously customer care is imperative to this Spa. Finally when I came in for my procedure today It was my first time at the spa as they did have a deal for the procedure I was getting I decided to switch things up. Chelsea was the NP that worked with me and was super friendly and knowledgable. She was conservative with her treatment and assured me I could always come back if I was not 100% satisfied. This is important as some procedures are not immediately reversible and it is better to start conservatively even though I know I can be pushy sometimes ;) I have been to many other med spas and must say they have a good thing going. As it was my first visit I cannot vouch for 5 stars quiet yet but I will be back. The ladies at the front desk were also very professional and helpful unlike some other med spas I have been to. I must say this is also in a new up-and-coming area of Sioux Falls that was fun to explore while waiting for my appointment! I will be back for sure!

I got a leg and bikini wax here and first thing's first: not a wax! Lisa's Lil Spa Room does…read moresugaring. If you're like me and you have never had sugaring done before but have done waxing, this is my experience with it in layman's terms/from a consumer side: PROS: -Not sticky!! Frequently after waxing I find that the wax residue is still there and lint from my pants will stick to me and require so real vigorous rubbing to clean off in the shower later. -Sugar is not hot. It's warmed with body heat and doesn't run the risk of burning your skin. -Doesn't stick to skin or pull any layers off! I briefly had some sugar get stuck on a part of my thigh that was extra warm (warmed with body heat and wouldn't harden enough to pull off) and all it took was setting a fan on it to cool it down. So no ouchies afterwards. -Really really helped with ingrown hairs IMO. I have sensitive skin that's super prone to ingrowns after shaving and this did not cause any more of them AND even got a few out. -You can get pretty big sections done at once as opposed to going strip by strip. CONS: -So the sugar is "molded" over the surface of your skin in the opposite direction of hair growth. To me this felt very uncomfortable. When you get waxed, the wax is warm, liquidy, and goes in the direction of hair growth, so it's almost soothing? The sugar is maybe a little warmer than the room and about the consistency of silly putty, and it felt like it really pulled on my hairs as it was put on. So rather than soothing-ouch-soothing-ouch back and forth, it was pretty much just uncomfortable the whole time. *THAT SAID*: I found sugaring to be significantly less painful overall the waxing. So while it was consistently uncomfortable, it was a lower intensity pain. -Your hair does get sort of balled up into the sugar throughout the appointment. It's not like you feel the hairs or anything, but if this is really weird to you then I guess keep that in mind? All in all, my verdict is extremely positive experience! Lisa was very friendly and patient with me and didn't make feel uncomfortable at all, which is quite a feat when you're laying in your underthings on a table while someone rips hair off your thighs! I left a message after hours to schedule with her and she was incredibly quick in returning my call and getting me booked before I went out of town for the weekend. I was given instructions on aftercare to keep my legs smooth and healthy and scheduled a touch up for four weeks later to keep them like that. Side note: I am a woman with PCOS, which in part means excessive hair growth. My legs look and feel incredible and feminine, and the peace of mind I am able to get with the help of this place is fantastic. :) Highly recommend!
