He came back a few weeks later to get part two done; which was removing a whole lot of dead and overgrown bushes. Part three was when they came back and put in several different types of plants. They used weed fabric in all of the flower beds, and put in mulch. Again everything was cleaned up and left looking lovely. I'm not an outdoor gardener by any stretch of the imagination, and Matt was very helpful with me picking plants that shouldn't be eaten by the deer. The estimate was great, and I was eager to support a local business. However, because their availability wasn't until October, a few of the high-risk branches fell during the wait, and I had to hire another service in August just to clear those immediate hazards. I fully intended to honor my October timeframe with them for the remaining limbs. When setting up the appointment, I tried to transparently explain what had happened and ask about an updated price. Unfortunately, before I could fully explain, I was abruptly told they wouldn't touch the tree because someone else had worked on it. While I understand companies have their own policies, the lack of flexibility and willingness to hear out a local customer who waited months to work with them was very disappointing.
