Yarn Alchemy is amazing and feels like a second home for a lot of us. Ashley, the owner, really knows her stuff and is always super helpful--whether you're picking out yarn, figuring out colors, or just browsing. Sarah and Karen are just as great--they'll help you match colors to your pattern, answer questions, and even create sample pieces to guide you. The shop itself has a great vibe, with tons of beautiful yarns and accessories, and the knitting/crocheting/spinning circles are such a fun bonus. There's always something to learn, and the people there are incredibly talented and welcoming. Newbies to the various crafts are also very welcome. After being greeted by the lovely workers, you'll be able to find almost anything (yarn related) you need. The selection is great, with hard to find yarn brands, cost efficient yarn brands, and mid-range yarn brands as well as needles, fiber, and almost anything else you may be able to think of. It's a community hangout, so if you have time to spare, find a spot on the comfy yellow couch and have some nice conversations with any others who may have the same idea in mind.
