The only fee you pay is the one listed on the pottery item, there are no sitting fees or anything. You can take as long as you want to paint your items. They also have several other activities you can do that I have not embarked upon yet. My wife and kiddos love to go and the staff is wonderful. I believe it is owned and operated by a mother/daughter team which are some of the best people we have met. A true pleasure to do business with them. My daughter and I went today to do something fun and crafty for her birthday. We had an awesome…read moretime. The staff was amazing making us feel comfortable being first timers. They went over the available pieces and paint. There is also refreshments you can purchase. We both enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to see the final product which is available in about 7 days. The only drawback I can say is the inventory of some items was low due to the holiday. The cost of the items also were pricey to do frequently. I would recommend for a special occasion but is out of my budget to do on a regular basis.

Very neat and unique place to go to in Downtown Joplin! They have many events including date…read morenights, women's night, birthdays, and kids story time/painting! You can design your own pottery art from pre-made pieces! Let it sit after you are completed and pick it up after a week once they have put the finishing touches on it! The two workers behind the counter were masked, which I appreciate during the pandemic. Like someone else mentioned, they seemed a bit too busy with themselves to really help us or show us anything in the store, even though we were the only customers. One never even lifted her head up to acknowledge us. There's a big snow storm about to blow in, and I was going to pick up some knitting supplies. I'm a newb and wasn't sure what to get, and the workers seemed too preoccupied to help. I did happen to find a candle I love. It was a bit pricey for the small size, but hey, it's Valentine's weekend so I treated myself.
