We've been working with Coach Ron for years and are very happy with his hitting instruction. He sees our son for baseball (15yo) and daughter for softball (13yo). He is positive and encouraging with his athletes and my kids always leave feeling like they had a great lesson. I am beyond impressed with Coach Ron's skill to teach children how to play baseball. He is kind and down to earth. He has multiple different creative ways to teach how to swing correctly or throw. He focuses on building the perfect muscle memories and forms. He is constantly giving positive reinforcements and he helps children to not only build their baseball skills but also self-esteem. He makes the baseball practice fun since he has so many different ways he teach children how to play baseball. My son is constantly engaged because he makes it fun. My son always look forward to work with coach Ron. Coach Ron has been very flexible with schedules also. One time my son got sick during the practice and he had to go home in the middle of it. My 9 yr son has been having 1 on 1 lessons with Coach Ronnie for a year. 100% improvement on all his skills, footwork, hitting, pitching and catching. This has made a huge positive impact on my son's attitude and confidence during Little League season. It is totally worth the 1 hr drive every week, the package deal of 4 x 1.5 hr sessions have worked out the best dollar wise. Ronnie's backyard is equipped with everything a player needs, batting cage, bullpen, and backstop for infield work. I have been taking my 11 year old son to Coach Ron for 3 months, it has been worth every amount of money and time that we have spent at Coach Ron great backyard facility. Yardwork Baseball is not some fancy facility with over price MLB coaches who might have been great players, but lack real skills when it comes to coaching. I know because my son has had three ex MLB player coaches, and my son showed very little improvement with their coaching. Since my son has been coached by Ron, his pitching and batting have improved dramatically. My son has gone from throwing 2 different types of pitches fairly good to throwing 4 pitches really good. His velocity, locating, what and when to throw specific types of pitching have greatly improved. My sons batting has gone from a good batter to a very strong batter. Coach Ron not only made my son a stronger batter, also smarter at the plate. Ron teaches him what pitches to look for under different pitch counts. We have watched older Travel Ball players coming to Yardwork Baseball, all with very positive things to say about Coach Ron. I agree 100% with the other two reviews, but one thing those two reviews are lacking, is Coach Ron isn't just great when it comes to improving the skills of young little league players. Coach Ron has the skills, knowledge, expertise, and temperament to make major improvement to all ages of baseball players. From the very young to high school and older travel ball players. My recommendation is to take advantage of Coach Ron extremely positive attitude, go to one of Coach Ron's very low 50% off first lesson.
