Staff and instructors are pros, and we noticed a lot of development in our novice player after just a couple lessons with Andrew. The best part is that my kid is eager to go back & sees these lessons as a treat. So the vibes are good! From a parent perspective, the whole operation is very organized and not intimidating. I'm sure we'll be back before next season!

His current team has 1 practice per week at 5 Tool San Marcos. There is a 2nd (original) facility in Carlsbad (off Palomar Airport Rd area). Both sites are great facilities, the newer San Marcos (San Elijo) complex is cleaner and also seems much bigger. They have a dedicated area for pitching as well, with private coaching. The San Elijo facility is very clean with a dedicated staff always willing to assist. I'm guessing there are 15 tunnels in total? You can rent one and your coach or Dad/Mom whoever can throw to you or feed you balls. If flying solo? Staff will step in. They also provide private and semi-private lessons for both hitting and pitching and the coaching is solid! Another cool variable is the nets are all on rollers so you can pull them to side and clear a bigger space to hit ground balls if so desired. My son's competitive team rents out a section that encompasses 3 tunnels that they pull the best to make half-tunnels and then create a station for grounders.

Zion was so helpful no matter how many times i had to come back and get more bands for my teams parents or other kids. David jumped in with running food, and helping with our drink pitchers. Such and awesome and pleasant staff. Im only reading the other reviews now, so i guess we got lucky on coming on a day it wasnt busy. The food took a while to come out, but Im sure the kitchen wasnt ready for hte amount of food we were going to order, so it was no problem at all. Everyone had a great time with all the rides. The only suggestion i would make is to make a bigger sign for the laser tag area - none of my kids knew there was laser tag until I asked them toward the end. The other suggestion - is a stronger margarita slush - it was premixed but i honestly think it didnt have any alcohol at all. Definitely will book our next team bonding when we return in July. Mahalo guys!

They don't rip people off. Your purchased tickets actually go really far and most games and experiences are 2-4 tickets. I was so impressed and we left feeling like we really got our money worth! And the kids were STOKED on all of the little prizes they got from the tickets they won. We will definitely be back!! Seriously so fun and thank you for not being a rip off!! It was also so clean and well maintained inside which shocked me. Also saw they have a deal on Tues & Wed for 50% off (I think?). Def worth checking out for the summer!!

Whether it's equipment or lessons, have been so kind and caring and accommodating, always going the extra mile and doing the right thing. Taking my kids to lesson is always a good time filled with laughter and fueling their drive to better skills on the field. We spend ALOT of time working here. Every instructor (Ali, Andi, Cole, Bobby) we have been lucky enough to spend time with has treated my kid with love and helped bring new physical development out in her to make her a force at game time. It's hard to pick a favorite we truly love it here. You would be doing your ball player a HUGE favor taking them to swing city. It's everything you could hope for in a batting cage "home."

He claims to have a Division 1 and professional background, but his behavior toward both players and parents is anything but professional or respectful. Trust me I'm not the only parent to have unfortunately experienced this horrible company poor management and coaching. Unfortunately, this culture is enabled by Tony, who presents himself as an advocate for player development and fairness but ultimately prioritizes money over what's best for the kids. If you value your child's growth, confidence, and love for the game, keep your son as far from this program as possible.
