(I'm not good with names) it's Friday night Sept 5th, 2025. He went out of his way to help my son and teach him a few things that got him hitting the ball. For sure we will be going back. He told us about a deal they do and he was not pushy about buying the month long pass, which of course we are going to get when we go back.

Staff and instructors are pros, and we noticed a lot of development in our novice player after just a couple lessons with Andrew. I'm sure we'll be back before next season!

His current team has 1 practice per week at 5 Tool San Marcos. There is a 2nd (original) facility in Carlsbad (off Palomar Airport Rd area). Both sites are great facilities, the newer San Marcos (San Elijo) complex is cleaner and also seems much bigger. They have a dedicated area for pitching as well, with private coaching. The San Elijo facility is very clean with a dedicated staff always willing to assist. I'm guessing there are 15 tunnels in total? You can rent one and your coach or Dad/Mom whoever can throw to you or feed you balls. If flying solo? Staff will step in. They also provide private and semi-private lessons for both hitting and pitching and the coaching is solid! Another cool variable is the nets are all on rollers so you can pull them to side and clear a bigger space to hit ground balls if so desired. My son's competitive team rents out a section that encompasses 3 tunnels that they pull the best to make half-tunnels and then create a station for grounders.

When my husband told me they were starting an adult fitness program, he convinced me I should give it a try. I've been going for over a month now and absolutely love it. Every workout is different and challenging, with a great mix of strength, conditioning, core and mobility. Coach Damon is awesome and does a great job keeping things fun while still pushing us. He is also so receptive to feedback and always tells us this is our workout, so if there is something we want to work on, he'll throw it in! He also adapts and provides modifications for us when we need it. The best part is now my son and I get to compare workouts and talk about how sore we are after class...mainly me! :-D It's been really fun having something we can do separately but still share and compare. If you're looking for a challenging workout in a fun, supportive environment, I definitely recommend giving the adult classes a try!

There's still the one in Irvine but it's seen better days (they took out the waterslides, the mini golf is kinda sad, etc.). This Boomers in Vista (San Diego) is awesome! -They have a 2 story arcade -They have bumper boats -They have race cars (need to be 58" to drive by yourself but they also have cars for 2 people) -They have batting cages -They have laser tag -They have a large free parking lot My favorite thing about this Boomers is: -They have the most amazing mini golf! They have 2 mini golf courses: 1) pirate themed and 2) castle themed and both of the courses are really well maintained and have really cool features and tons of different obstacles. They have water features, the pirate course is 2 stories tall, they have really interesting holes, it's not just turf they have imitation sand and water and "rough" - the mini golf is really great here! I will gladly drive down from Orange County to come here to San Diego County because this Boomers is great! Just be warned they don't open until 11am on Sundays.

Want to wash your hands? Too bad. The carpets inside were disgusting. AC was wonky indoors. Snack shack was kind of gross. Just dingy. Everything needs a refresh. That said, this place is a descent spot to have some activities although its pricey for being overall sticky and out of date. You get mini golf, lazer tag, go carts, bumper boats, arcade, batting cages and a sunburn. And maybe hand foot mouth. Can we PLEASE get an out door bathroom and places to wash hands?! I really think there should be a family pass, but it's $50/person for unlimited activities which is pretty pricy, but I guess it's better than an hour in an escape room. For $150 you can get an entire annual membership to any museum....plus lunch. It's just super expensive. Probably won't go more than a couple times a year, but it's fine. With legoland passes I just can't justify the price....and the stickiness of it all. Pack hand wipes, and a pee bucket.
