My sons play every season and we have had good and bad seasons.. but they learned from each one! They both play year around (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter), because they love it so much! There is recreational and competitive in this league. So if you have a beginner start off at recreational. And if you have a son or daughter that is advanced, they can try out for competitive. My oldest plays competitive and youngest does recreational. They both love it! They have this league all over San Diego, but the best it is in Santee! Friday nights lights and beer garden there. Fun for parents and kids! Can't go wrong with that! Remember, this league has volunteering parents that are coaches, so you have to be patient. There are some that have been coaching for years and some that are brand new. The more your child plays.. they will establish a team. My boys play between two different teams sometimes depending on the season. During sign-ups, you can do coach and/or friend requests, so bring a friend! Staff is great. Never had any issues! If you are looking for a sports for your son or daughter to try... try NFL FLAG! They will have a great experience!::

I had to take a few weeks in order to get my thoughts and frustration into words. If you want to…read morewaste your time and money, by all means please secure your spot here. This basketball league is by far one of the worst ones I have ever enrolled my children in- from "coaching" and how staff handled it overall. At first glance, staff was friendly and appeared knowledgeable about the game. But when it came to practice and the actual game, it was lacking. Understandably most kids have never played basketball, but it shouldn't stop you, the coach/staff, from calling a blatant travel all game OR addressing it during practice! Not addressing it just builds bad habits especially for young players. Cool story. There were younger players who finished their championship game before ours. All trophies were on a table outside for presentation. When the winning team went outside, the 2nd place team had taken the 1st place trophies and the champion team had to settle for 2nd place medals due to a lack of coordination by staff. Again, I'm sure the winning players felt wonderful afterwards. Another amazing story. During my son's championship game the staff realized the team were lopsided and decided to swap my son and another player to the losing team after the first quarter. First off, shouldn't the staff know their players by season's end to divide teams evenly? Apparently not cause no one was paying attention all season. In the end, the losing team lost and the staff gave my son a participation medal which went into the trash before we even left the gym. Save your money folks and go somewhere else.

If you are reading this DO NOT ENROLL YOUR KIDS IN THIS PROGRAM…read more DO NOT ENROLL YOUR KIDS IN THIS PROGRAM DO NOT ENROLL YOUR KIDS IN THIS PROGRAM We signed our son up for football and basketball... It is without a doubt the most disorganized league we have ever seen. So Disorganized to the detriment of the experience for the kids. Some teams didn't have a coach and the leagues though advertised to be a certain age group were in fact not. We registered for the 7-9 year olds and they made it 6-10.... How in the heck is a 6 year old supposed to play with a 10 year old. Bill Sixsmith is a coward who won't respond to emails.

Fallbrook youth baseball field and Ingold sports park is always confusing, and it is hard to find…read more You have to search for Ingold sports park. They both are same, unfortunately but little apart with in a big field and not walkable. This is a large sports complex with small parking spots. No restrooms available but found a porta potty. Great for kids and for the spectators. Beautiful drive tho this field, make sure you know where you are going before you leave, tricky to find thia spot. 4 fields, nicely maintained with dirt and real grass. Good luck finding it.

My husband made a turn into the field and the cars coming out refused to move over to let us get by. Later I realized how terrified they must've felt as the road is a dead drop down the cliff. The roads are narrow and dangerous. People actually pay dues and fees to this park??? It's a crying shame that parking is the way it is. I'm not lying when I say we almost had a brawl in this park as we were all gridlocked down there near the Pinto field. People trying to get out and us trying to park for a game. We were all stuck! Everybody honking at each other to get out of the way and yet it was impossible to maneuver. We were crammed in this park like sardines! I think there is a dead end and everybody trying to turn back and head out. The fields have no shade where we were. The area is just something out of a movie from the 60's. So dated and dirty. Outhouses were stinky ! That's for sure how they should be but it smelled like it hadn't been dumped in ages. I hope we never ever have another game in Fallbrook! It was horrible! Murrieta Pony and Fallbrook Pony fields must be owned by the same people. No money has been put into these fields in ages! 9/29/19 visit to this ball park. I suggest the owners of this field invest a little money in renovating and giving our kids a safe clean and fun experience. Right now, it's a sham!

I coached with AYSO, so I can tell you that all of the reviews are correct. 100 percent if your son…read moreor daughter isn't ready for a club but wants to try out soccer take them to San Elijo Region 1505, I'm sure that they will be at least be more organized then AYSO San Marcos. The Commissioner James who is supposed to inform the coaches of the fields and times etc is always lacking. He complained to me about having a really full plate. I didn't suggest it but I definitely thought that he should then quit. The children are not his first priority anyway, its the money that the people put into it. I coached for him two seasons and from day one the lack of organization was evident. He told me to register my son for the Spring select despite his clavicle being broken, he knew he wouldn't be able to play and he still suggested that I pay the 170 dollars. Honestly, because of him most if not all of the parents who were on my team are going to go to 1505 san Elijo and I don't blame them. I wish I could answer questions on here cause IT GETS WORSE! As I was coaching he made it difficult for me because of the time frame he was trying to give me and no matter how many times I expressed I needed a solution to that he didn't give me one. So he fired me as a volunteer coach by taking me to the limit of my availability he pushed me out. Who fires a volunteer coach? On top of that my son who had just gotten cleared to play and was going to be his first official game got cut off the team because James acquired a new coach and the new coach was going to insert his son into the team despite not having had one practice with the spring select team. I tried to contact him but he basically gave me the bird in the most political way. His program is nonsense and the way he treats his volunteers is shameful, but its nothing compared to how he treats the kids. Who knows if this new coach is going to cut one of the kids that have been to practice the whole time with me to give preference to his son, James has sincerely appalled me with his actions. He speaks so well and fools people who don't know him, but he's nothing like he portrays himself. I recommend you follow the reviews and take your business elsewhere. Getting a refund is also going to be challenge they will push you to keep credit for the next season instead. DO your self the favor and save yourself from the headache and go to San elijo AYSO. James is bringing shame to AYSO San Marcos, and this review is from a person who was on the inside.
