I knew they were overpriced but wanted to support my local gemstore. Then the girl, who was very nice, asked for a tip. I didnt understand why I was tipping and bc I am kind, I did tip. I realize that stores like this take advantage of people's kindness. What is even worse is store owners pay less base pay with the promise of tips so its the owners who should be shamed, taking advantage of not only their employees but also the kindness of people who patronage their shop. Like most B&BW locations, the space is packed from entry to exit, wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Every nook and cranny is occupied by a lotion, spray, soap, accessory or scent of some kind. This does make it tough to move around when it gets busy, which is why I try to avoid this location during peak hours and the holiday season. While the stock and layout is pretty consistent with other locations, the service is a bit hit and miss. They seem to be less welcoming and friendly than other locations. Maybe it is the mall crowd? I mean, I get. I do appreciate the expansion of their men's line of lotions, colognes and scents. Overall, Bath & Body Works comes in clutch when needed and this location is convenient...sometimes.

I even picked up a pencil plant or euphorbia tirucalli for you succulent aficionados out there. This is a gift shop that compliments their indoor plant shop! It has house decor, greeting cards, candy, candles, kid and dog toys, totes, and more! I really wanted the plant lady door mat and gonna see if it's there when I need a replacement for mine. It's quaint and smaller than I imagined. You've got to look up and down and all round so you don't miss all the different items offered. They will gift wrap your gifts even if you didn't buy it there. Today was awesome bc they treated us to HiFi cookies. I was told they will have them for sale in the future! The store is always clean and stocked with local merchandise that would please any picky buyers. The owners are proud and available to assist and thank patrons for their business. We only leave a couple of blocks from the store so it's always a plus to have it close when gift giving or have quick access to local goods. I would recommend to sign up for the rewards points as you can redeem some during the holiday season. We love the shops on Fatherland, but this is hands down the best spot on the block.
