At this point I had started working with the attorney they recommended to obtain court order documents in NY and had given the retainer. Then, we were told to go through the Italian judicial courts and were given a cost where they stated no where the total but it was near the same amount of the original cost. Turns out it still doubles the cost. I am out of the $250 base fee from the retainer due to their recommendation all while under their Executive service contract. The service is present, however they are not really remorseful of their mistakes. I am waiting on ITAMCAP to credit the $250 due to their ill advise at the start. I reached out to ITAMcap after my appointment and told them about this additional homework. They said they'd help me with half the items, but would not touch the name descrepancies situation. Despite agreeing to help me obtain the necessary docs, I ended up providing all of the docs to them myself. ITAMcap has been sitting on these documents for the past 2 years, stalling my application from being completed. When I reach out to them, they either don't answer or give me excuses. I have requested they send me everything they have multiple times and they said once over a year ago that they would send my documents to me, but never did. I have recently sent requests for the return of all of my documents and a refund, and they've ignored every one of them. I've had to re-request all of my documents from government agencies myself, and have started getting them apostilled on my own. In 2 weeks, I have done more than ITAMcap has done in 2 years. There are better companies out there to obtain citizenship. There's also a very helpful youtube channel called "Italian Citizenship Assistance" that I wish I had found before I reached out to ITAMcap. I would highly recommend going through them before you use ITAMcap.
