AWFUL SERVICE, VERY UNPROFESSIONSAL !!! Be careful from this place…read more. I found them online and picked them only because they are rated high. So here I am to tell my story and make sure other ppl won't fall for the way it is presented online! I spent $1400 with them simply for oil change and fixing my AC so I can safely and comfortably drive it back to Dallas Texas. They told me it is ready for pick and everything is working properly, I went tp pick it up and and what I saw was a beginning of a nightmare. The glove was disconnected completely and was thrown in the cabin and next to it there was a can of some spray that they for got there. As if someone just left the truck without completing the job (refer to photos). Furthermore, the AC worked for the first 10 minutes of driving and stopped, I ended up driving to Dallas without AC because the punk ass dude in the cashier told me over the phone that he want few more hundreds to replace another part in the AC. 1400 is not enough for this greedy. Anyway if all this is not enough, the desert was that both lights tie pressure and check engine were on when I arrived to pick up the truck. That is of course after an oil change and service yes?! (refer to photos of display lights and receipt) THESE GUYS ARE A JOKE I BET EVERYTHING I HAVE THAT THEY DID NOT SPEND MORE THAT 2 HOURS WORKING ON THIS TRUCK The big guy in the cashier is mean and treat customers with 0 tolerance

Great repair shop. After reading several reviews I decided…read moreto give Roswell Transmission a call to get my 750li BMW transmission repaired. I usually don't write reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience with Roswell Transmission Repair. The dealership quote was ridiculously overpriced and I wanted a transmission specialist to perform the work. After talking with Gary for about 30 minutes I decided to go with his services. I explained to him i needed my car ready and working on a certain date because I had business in florida. He agreed that he could have it fixed and running in good shape. I paid $170.00 in diagnostics fees to the dealership and it was not accurate. Gary diagnosed the problem replaced the parts on my transmission , discovered some other problems that i thought was suspect because the dealership told me it was another problem that needed to be repaired. I later found out thru Gary they were incorrect. They told me i needed a valley coolant pan and the problem was the water pump. I argued wth Gary and told him I didn't need a water pump because I had just replaced the pump two years ago. I don't know what happened but he replaced it anyway. I went in for a transmission repair and there were other issues popping up and i said this guy is trying the old bait and switch trick. I was not happy with that and I needed my vehicle back , but I waited patiently. They were busy.He told me I needed to replace the sensor on the lower hose and I didn't need a hose as the dealership suggested along with some other things. Bottom line is this .. I had a wonderful experience with Roswell Transmission. They saved me a lot of money and after paying a bit more than I originally anticipated, which was significantly lower that the dealership, I was very impressed with their work. My wife and I went home , put our luggage in the car and drove to Miami Florida. The car ran like it was brand new. No leaks period. I have since put over 5k miles on the car in less that 40 days and it still runs better than it did before. Gary advised me to let him keep it additional day before giving it back to me and I'm glad i listened to him.His top mechanic Josh worked on my vehicle and he is very familiar with those bimmers. I'm going back . I live in Stone Mountain but I will drive or have my vehicle towed if needed to Roswell Transmission Shop. They have a new customer. My new mechanic is Josh. Good service..... Down to earth folks. You just have to be patient at times but they take pride in their work and Gary is a really knowledgable guy. He's not out there to rip you off. He may cuss at time but he has christian values. They just don't do transmissions and they offer warranties with their work and products. I'm very happy with my experience.

To say this experience was terrible is an understatement! they kept the vehicle for over a week to fix the oil leak and the check engine light issue. I got the Jeep back and as soon as I drove it the engine light came back on. took it back to the shop- it was just a piece of dirt making the light come one. The next week the Jeep is leaking clean oil. I take it back to this shop and they again- keep the Jeep for over a week to tell me that's it's just left over oil. I can see that this Jeep is leaking oil but - OK. Well got the Jeep out for a good drive, park it in the garage and the next morning there is a puddle of oil on the garage floor. DON'T take your vehicle here! A wasted $1800 spent.

Daren noticed the oil on the pavement was fresh and initially suspected it was a bad oil service, and he urged me to call the service station that provided the oil change. Lo and behold the owner of the service station came to try to fix the issue---but upon further investigation it was deemed that the oil pump wall had failed --- and it wasn't the service station's fault - but that diagnostic was free. So after all that, Daren came back and delivered my car to Toyotech and even gave me a discount! I can't give 10 stars but when it comes to an honest business man that goes above and beyond the call of duty, Town Lake Towing has you covered!

He is horrible and his workmanship is too. I honestly think these reviews come from a google algorithm he purchased. I was told of a few things he'd be able to including the windshield of my vehicle and after keeping my car for six days overnight - he didn't. I found this out at pick up. Prior to dropping my car off, I told him my expectations and how I pay attention to detail regarding my vehicle. I made a comment that if you see anything, PLEASE let me know prior to wrapping as this is a brand new car with 200 miles on it. When I went to pick my vehicle up there was a chip in the paint on hood from a rock that he covered up with wrap. The windshield tint wasn't done and the wrap wasn't completed on parts of my car. The tint on the windows wasn't properly applied and it wasn't machine cut as he indicated it would be so it looked HORRIBLE! AFTER SIX DAYS! AFTER SIX DAYS OF HAVING MY CAR!! Like wth were you doing? Your reasoning for having my car that long was because YOU like to pay attention to detail, but you didn't. You mentioned you liked to TUCK all of the wrap, but it wasn't! I talked to him about the deficiencies of the job and he told me he would refund me the portion he didn't do! He took $300 off because he didn't want me to make a review, AS HE INDICATED. When I left, I thought the car was in much better shape than what the naked eye could see. Here we are two months later and I can see everything only after putting an additional 350 miles on my car. The wrap on my wing is spotted and the cheap ass 3M wrap around my car is peeling off because he DIDN'T tuck the wrap as he indicated and he had his employee do this botch job. Again, THIS MAN SAID ALL OF MY WRAP IS TUCKED SO THERE WON'T BE ANY LINES!! (That's why I thought he'd needed the car for so long because my other vehicles took a day and they were bigger) So now I have to get ALL of this pulled off and redone because he is not answering calls or responding to text messages! So, I'm out 3k to get this done because of this bad job when I should have been refunded for the whole thing at the start - LIKE I ASKED. This man did nothing right with my wrap, NOTHING. The front tint had to be done over because of the imperfect cut, the hood had to be done over because he wrapped over a rock chip! *sigh. Now my whole vehicle has to be wrapped again. Whew! Jesus be a fence. This was just a trash trash TRASH experience! Trust me, he knows it! Thank GOD for my bank. Back to TINT WORLD I go! I should have stuck with Tint World, but this guy had so many great reviews and the prices were cheaper! I guess this is what I get! Botched reviews, botched service! I'm sure when he reads this review I'll get a response in text message or a response here. Let's see. I'll post pictures of the text I sent him and the bad job. My number is still the same if you decide to call and make this right.

I decided to take it to Lance. In and out in around 2 hours. I tried to bait Lance into saying that the mechanic who did my oil change had let all of the Freon out because all the system needed was to be recharged, but he wouldn't. He stayed professional. Today I got in the car and the AC is still working. Almost 10 years later and he remembered me when I walked thru the door and he gave me the same service he gave me them! SHAM JOB, SHODDY WORK. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Chip did one of the worst, most unprofessional…read moreinstall jobs I have ever seen done on a car. I don't have the time or room on a review to describe all the problems he caused a on simple head unit and backup camera install job, but I will try. 1) He did not wire the backup camera to the head unit properly, after pushing the camera button on my head unit I only got a blue screen, and he tried to tell me at first that was because it was for a front camera I didn't have (who has front cameras anyway?). I pointed out it says "R. CAMERA" on the screen. After calling Crutchfield and they explained to him the proper way to wire it, he fixed that issue (after having to bring my car back in). 2) After driving for a few days, we noticed wires with black tape hanging down below the bumper plain as day and was very alarmed. When I called him to tell him about it, he gave me a lecture on the type of tape it was because I called it duct tape at first. He said it was dyno soundproofing tape although why you would use soundproofing tape to try to secure excess wire to the bottom of my undercarriage (did not even bother to tuck it inside the bumper) I have no idea. Neither does Crutchfield support. Furthermore when I examined the wire from the head unit to camera, he used blue painters' tape to join two wires instead of properly crimping the connection like a professional would do or in the very least using electrical tape. 3) My SiriusXM intermittently cuts in and out, very frustrating and makes it unusable. This is definitely because he buried the antenna for the SiruisXM tuner inside the dash, which you are not suppose to do which I also confirmed with Crutchfield support (they were in disbelief). When I expressed concern at the 1st pickup that I had never seen an antenna buried like that, he dismissively told me it was fine. I relented at first because I thought he was a professional 4) He broke the wrong tabs off the trim plate around the head unit so it didn't fit properly and then when I raised that issue he used another trim plate he had laying around that does not fit and comes loose constantly. Chip likes to talk over his customers when they raise concerns about problems and dismiss them. If you persist he will tell you to "bring it back in" even though you both disagree about how it should be fixed or installed in the first place. I will not bring my car to him 3, 4, or 5 times for what should of been a simple install job when it's clear he does extremely shoddy work and then denies any of it was his fault. He comes off nice at first but just wait until the problems come. I have never written a negative yelp review, this is my first - that should tell you something. I came to him because of his positive reviews on yelp, which only go back 6 months making it look like a new business. It is not, he says he's been there 11 years. I asked him why his yelp page was new, he mentioned something about an old worker trying to steal his business so he had to start it over. That doesn't make much sense either, more likely is that he wanted to get rid of old bad reviews. My frustration level is off charts and now I have to spend more money and time to bring it to someone who can actually fix all the problems Chip caused. Use him at your own peril.

As you should already know the shop is kinda small. As for the parts back. There are some parts you can not simply get back because of warranty parts retention polices. That require the parts used to be send back to the manufacturer for inspection. Other parts have a core charge and those parts can be rejuvenated to keep part prices low.
