The menu is mostly Americanized classic Chinese with a few more traditional dishes. The main dishes are made with fresh vegetables. Next door is the Sunrise Bakery and across the street is the KFC. As soon as I arrived with my date, who was blind, our waitress, Sarah, didn't miss a beat and as she seated us asked if she can bring a "plate with walls." Neither of us knew what she was talking about and I'm not sure how we answered, but she came back with a large dinner plate which had high sides on it. It was similar to a casserole dish. She said that she has a blind friend and he finds a plate like this easier to use. It was one of the kindest acts either of us had experienced in a very long time. One of the most important things to say about *any* buffet is how fresh the food is. While we were there, cooks brought out freshly-cooked salmon not only once, but twice. That says a lot. The food selection was good, though not very extensive, but it's a very small restaurant. We noticed that while the kitchen was in the rear, there was also a cook preparing some food in the dining room on a hibachi grill. That's a nice touch. While the storefront is not particularly appealing, the inside is lovely, though the wallpaper and artwork could use some updating. That's okay, though... the important thing here is the excellence of the food; it is... and so are the people of this city. As we were ready to leave, our bill was brought to us that said one of the patrons had already paid for our dinner. That was incredibly kind, and a kindness that I will certainly pay forward. If you're traveling through Lawrenceburg, stop by the Chinese Oriental Buffet. You won't be disappointed.

I was slightly…read moredisappointed that the entrée didn't include broccoli, and the rice had very few onions, no scrambled eggs, or bean sprouts. That said, the food wasn't greasy or overly salty, which is a definite plus for anyone who is sensitive to salt. The temperature was just right, and the portions were NOT decent (serving container is very shallow!). The location is near a busy intersection, and the limited street parking can make getting out of a parking space a little frustrating. A lovely local shared a helpful tip with me: there's a small parking area about half a block down if you don't mind walking a short distance. There is also plenty of seating inside if you prefer to dine in and enjoy watching the local pedestrians pass by. Service was friendly. Overall, it's an option if you're looking for an in and out takeout that isn't overloaded with grease or salt.

We had dreams of the catfish and made the drive back, only to see it replaced by their roast beef, though we were sad but that roast beef was so flavorful and succulent!! We are very thankful for the amazing quality of food for this price in this economy. I hope this place flourishes for many years to come.

I'd take out a second mortgage on my house if I couldn't afford to eat one, this is a rare moment where you have been let down by so many other steak houses but you manage to be in the right spot at the right time and have an existentially mind blowing experience.
