Unfortunately, this Yale Cleaners tore my work blazer. They are refusing to take any ownership over this issue. I took this item to Yale Cleaners after noticing it needed a fresh cleaning. Prior to taking my item to Yale Cleaners, I took a picture wearing the blazer to show a colleague what I was packing. This shows that the blazer was not torn before taken to Yale Cleaners. When I brought the item home, the torn area had a loose thread sticking out, which would have not made it through a dry cleaning. read more

If I could give Yale cleaners at 41st and Harvard a negative number I would do it. They lost our comforter. For over 30 days they kept telling us it wasn't ready and then finally, one girl said they couldn't find it. No apology, just we can't find it sorry will reimburse you. I left a message for the manager or somebody with some authority to call me back and tell me how I would go about getting that reimbursement. Crickets. I called 2 to 3 times more and left messages. Crickets. Finally called back a fifth time.... Charlie was one of the rudest, most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. They lost our brand new comforter. Nobody ever said "oops ,sorry!" ... When I brought that to Charlie's attention, he literally sat on the phone in silence. When I asked if he was still there, he said, "oh I'm still here." ‍ No apology. No, "I'm sorry you've driven two hours to come pick up your comforter... twice... and we kept telling you it wasn't ready and yet in reality we lost it/ gave it to someone else." When I dropped off the comforter I asked can you just put it in a big washing machine and use cold water like the label says? "I don't know we'll see." It feels scratchy and it's wrinkled and it smells funny as if it were dry cleaned and that's $35. Rip off. read more

I recently had my wedding dress examined to see if damage from another dry cleaners could be undone. When I turned in the dress , I had wrapped it a specific way in special acid-free paper along with my veil and in a special storage box. I received a call from the wedding dress specialist in a timely manner and he was nice. He said that he could get my dress back to it's original condition but had a problem with the box I had it in. I then received a long explanation about the importance of the box and he quoted me a price. I got the impression the guy was passionate about his work and I was excited to have him fix my dress. Although the price he wanted to charge was reasonable I was unable to afford it at that time. I went to pick up my dress only to find that the special paper was gone, except one small piece, and the dress had been tossed back into the box. When I confronted the person who received my dress he claimed that everything was there when his boss (the wedding dress specialist) looked at it and didn't know what happened. I also noticed that the container I had my veil in was missing and he said that it was damaged and had to be tossed. This was a flat out lie because I inspected everything before turning in my dress and the container was not damaged. This same guy also told me that I could use any tissue paper to wrap my dress in! He gave me his boss' number and that was that. I left his boss a few messages, one a little heated and the other a little calmer. I have not heard back yet. I now have to order new acid-free paper to re-wrap my dress and look for another cleaners to fix my dress. I can't trust a place where the boss seemed so passionate about his work and then just tosses my beautiful gown back into the box minus the wrapping it came in, not to mention, the shoddy excuses and lies from the in take person. On a side note, I did have them dry clean a Santa suit, at the same time I had my dress looked at, and it appears to be done well. read more

Terrible workmanship. I was on a tight turnaround as I needed a couple of suits before I depart for a trip. They did not get the stains out of my suit jacket. Wasted $12 and part of my day. I'm not able to get to another dry cleaner in Tulsa before I leave. UPDATE: They were nice enough to give me a refund for the suit that was not properly dry cleaned, but it still would have been nice to have the suit completely dry cleaned before my next trip. read more

We were previously warned about Yale Cleaners, but decided to take our chances. You live you learn! They lost my boyfriend's dress shirt ($80) and made it seem as if we didn't drop the shirt off to begin with. They also lied about talking with the company they outsource their clothes to, to see if they could find it. I called another location and asked them if any Yale Cleaners outsource their clothes and they don't. I didn't appreciate getting lied to or being treated as if we were lying about the cost of the shirt and about dropping it off. They called a week later and found the shirt....I felt that the manager was unprofessional and condescending throughout the entire process. This is my warning! Please don't risk your clothes. Take them elsewhere. We now take our business to Spiffy's. read more

Yale cleaners was fantastic and efficient. Their in by 12 and out by 5 policy was perfect for me when I had put off dry cleaning a garment I needed for a ceremony. On top of their great service to me I recommended them to a friend who found herself the morning of the event in need of dry cleaning and they ensured her jacket that she dropped off at 8 am was ready before the ceremony at 1pm. I will be returning to Yale cleaners whenever I need my white coat cleaned or pressed or I have other dry cleaning needs. read more

I wear a suit to work every day, so I'm a pretty regular customer at the dry cleaners. Basically, I think Yale Cleaners is as good as any. They charge $5.50 for each piece of my suits - so $11 for each suit, which I think is a lot of money. However, I think this is pretty much standard fare for dry cleaning. They do a great job and my suits, for the most part, have held up very well. Even when I do get something on a suit, they do a great job of working it out so that my clothes don't stain. One service I do take advantage of is Saturday cleaning. They offer same-day cleaning every day, but if you drop off your clothes by noon, they'll have them ready by four. That's a pretty quick turnaround! (On weekdays, I believe it's noon and five, but don't hold me to that.) Finally, I must advise others to use their app. It's really awesome. You used to have to print coupons off every year, and clip them each visit. No more. The coupons auto-load into the app, so you just choose which one you want and check out. (Also, it keeps a history of when you cleaned each article. Pretty spiffy - pun intended.) Overall, Yale is pretty great. I've used Spiffy's and a few other places, but I seem to always end up back at Yale. I would be swayed by lower prices somewhere else, but I've yet to find that. read more

Just this past Saturday I dropped off a pea coat to get cleaned at the Kenosha location and picked it up on Monday. Because I rarely get clothes dry cleaned I guess I expected more, but after getting home and looking at my coat- disappointment does not begin to describe my feelings toward Yale. After looking at my coat it literally looked like they went over it with a lint roller maybe twice and then charged me $13 for it which I felt was over priced to begin with, but had my coat been clean I would not have cared. Because I'm flying out to Chicago today (the reason I had my coat cleaned) I didn't have time for them to go over it with a lint roller again "for free". Needless to say I will no longer be a customer at Yale Cleaners and I'm so glad that I didn't bring in a formal dress to get cleaned along with my coat. This place use to be great, now I'll never go back. The entire staff has changed (I use to always have the same friendly lady help me now her and everyone else is gone) and the new people do not seem to know anything about dry cleaning or customer service. A few months back I tried dropping off 4 items of clothes which have all been cleaned there regularly. The lady at the counter started picking at my clothes and told me she didn't know about cleaning my clothes (it was 2 blouses and 2 slacks). She read the care instructions for all 4 items and refused to take the 3 of them because they didn't say dry clean only (they were machine washable). I told her forget it and took my items and left. 2 months later I decided to give them another chance thinking maybe it was a fluke or I got some new employee who didn't know what they were doing. I brought in my winter coat. I have brought in this same winter coat every spring for the past 4 years without incident. When the employee saw my run of the mill peacoat she started freaking out. She kept scratching an tapping at the plastic buttons. She then told me they wouldn't accept my coat unless I signed a waiver saying they weren't responsible if they damaged my buttons. I signed it after telling her I'd never had to do that before. She then lectured me on bringing in my coat with the matching belt on it. She said I had to remove belts in advance and they refused to clean it (it's made out of the same material as the coat) because "we're not going to be accountable for that thing if it gets lost." I will take my clothes to the creek and beat them with a rock before coming back. read more

I recently moved to Tulsa and have been trying different dry cleaners around town. First, this location is SUPER convenient (will be even more convenient when construction on 41st is complete). I went in one day to drop off several work dresses and blazers-- I was immediately greeted by a woman who promptly asked if this was my first visit. It was, so she asked for my information and what not and handed me a ticket saying they would be ready the next day and that I could receive a text when its ready! Awesome #1! SO I went back the next day and the woman remembered me and went to ring me up and asked "did I mention our app yesterday?" When I told her no, she patiently sat there (this was at 6:00pm on a weekday btw) while I downloaded it, all so I could use a coupon and she told me about how to use it in the future. Awesome #2! A company who willingly saves me money!? I'm sold-- I would have been really peeved if I had left and saw that I could have saved $20 and didn't get the opportunity to. I'm not sure why everyone complains about the prices here-- they are pretty standard and find them to be a tad cheaper than some of the other dry cleaners in town. Overall, I'm happy with Yale Cleaners and will always go there! read more

Outstanding company with the best service in the business. After requesting very specific ironing needs regarding men's dress shirt collars, I was having trouble getting the collars pressed far enough to completely cover a tie. I realize now I didn't communicate my needs very well. After the 3rd try (and better communication on my part) they are now perfect every time. They even go above and beyond to place plastic stays around the collars so they will stay sharp. Again, they completely exceed my expectations!!! read more

I do not understand why this place doesn't have more stars... had an emergency cleaning job this AM, pulled out my PhD robe (lots of braiding and velvet) before OU-Tulsa's graduation this evening to find a shoulder covered with makeup. Called at 9AM asking if they could do a rush job and not only did they have it clean by 12:30 but the stain was completely gone and for a fraction of what I expected for cost (they charged me 11.70 for a complicated piece of work). I am THRILLED with the quality of the job and I can go send my students off with their degrees this evening without feeling self-conscious about a stain. They have my business!!! read more
