Kevin O'Brien and CitruSolutions were recommended to us by a friend and we could not be more pleased. We recently had them back after our daughter moved out, having lived in our basement for a bit with her sweet dog Charlie. As you can imagine, a large dog going in and out, for months and months, presented a challenge when it came to keeping the carpets clean. Usually, a picture is worth a thousand words but even so, these pictures only scratch the surface of what an amazing job they did. The corner picture is where Charlie would eat and that area was a huge mess! I sincerely did not believe it would come clean...but it looks great! I truly did not expect Kevin and his team to work the miracle they did yesterday. I cannot recommend CitruSolutions Carpet Cleaning of Gainesville enough! Normally, I do not write reviews, they are far and few between -…read more Now... I will say this... Approximately a year ago I had used A Plus - I was in the hospital for emergency life saving surgery - and due to my health - I was not allowed to leave the hospital and had to leave my dogs alone for almost 24hrs - please understand - my leaving my dogs was NOT due to neglect - I was a day - 2 days at the most from dying - my situation was CRITICAL and the Drs stated if I left the hospital there was a very STRONG possibility that I could die driving home to get my dogs - my fear of dying was overwhelming to say the least and the thought of possibly dying driving home to get my dogs and possibly injuring/killing anyone in a car accident was not something I could risk... Unfortunately, one of my friends was not able to get to my dogs until the following day and she was aware of how dire my situation was - Needless to say, I knew that my carpeting was going to be hit with the dogs 'accidents'... About a week after my surgery I started to call around for a carpet cleaning company that would be willing to do the work without gauging me in the pocketbook... I found Alex at APlus - He was extremely kind and compassionate to my situation - He was willing to work with me in every aspect - I had never forgotten... And when I FINALLY came home - my carpets looked incredible and there was ABSOLUTELY NO 'ODOR' lingering... It was a HUGE relief to me! I reached out to Alex again, literally today, regarding a cleaning... He remembered me from the initial job and from previous conversations... How many companies will 'remember' you? Now I will not go into what we've discussed and agreed to... But, I will say this... For a company in today's era that is willing to GO ABOVE and BEYOND and TRULY helps a person and put's the customers needs before their own profits - Speaks VOLUMES... I'm old school and you are only as good as your word, a handshake means something... I can only go by the work he had done for me previously and I was very happy with results... But, the absolute generosity in helping a person in my situation, (I'm sorry I do not wish to elaborate), gives me renewed faith that there are still Companies like APlus who truly care about their Clientele... I may not be able to use his services as much as I would llike, but, he has a customer for life... Unless of course I win the lottery - Sorry Alex - if that happens I'm moving to Bora Bora! If you are looking for not only good work but a company who listens and actually cares... Give Alex a call... Tell him I sent you!

He was able to accommodate my short-notice request and crazy work schedule, and communicated well and clearly throughout the scheduling process. He showed up on time and finished when he projected he would. I was favorably impressed with his professionalism as well as the very reasonable pricing for his services! I waited five days after work was done to write this so any temporary effect would pass...you know how sometimes carpets look great right after while drying, then a few days later when dry, stains reappear and you see the work was shoddy - surely NOT the case with this work!) He also cleaned a sofa and dining chair cushions for me which look brand new afterwards. I went from thinking about replacing the carpets in the just-acquired home, to being able to spend those dollars on other projects, thanks to the outstanding workmanship of the cleaning job! When it comes to chimney-cleaning services they're not certified inspectors and will not keep their word on services they promised. They were late, did not adhere to pandemic safety standards, were rude, charged higher fees at the last minute, and did a lousy job that left my house smokey after using it. INTERACTION * The person I spoke with said it'll be a "level 2 " service (pretty standard across the industry). They quoted me 280. * Technician was an hour and half late without giving me any updates. * Raphael came to my house, to which I asked him to wear booties over his shoes. He said he'll be in/out the house a lot so I compromised as long as it was limited to the chimney area. Later he wore his dirty shoes through my hallway and into the bathroom and demanded a bottled water to drink too. I could have denied, but I tried to show hospitality but he didn't reciprocate. * Because he blocked the driveway in, I had to call people to get a chimney grate, which I didn't know I needed. Many times he would take off his mask to talk to me or to his phone which he was late on catching up on paper work. If you're at my house, I expect you to provide 100 percent focus on the job. After looking at my supplies and telling me to get a grate, when it came, he evaded testing out the fire by saying I also needed a fire starter log. * Cleaning took about 15 minutes -- seemed pretty quick for what he kept saying was a "really bad" chimney. I asked the state of the chimney because it bothered me that it was such a quick job. He told me he's not a certified inspector, and he's not doing the video inspection. * After asking about the quoted 280 over on the phone, he decides to charge an extra 100 cause my chimney was "really bad." ... if you're able to get the job done in 15 minutes all while letting the machine do its job while you walk away to fill out paperwork, I don't understand how that could be so strenuous on labor. * After he was gone, I called up the company to report his behavior to a manager, to which I spoke with Alex. He offered no compensation or discounts for all their shortcomings. He only said "I'll talk to him." I've never been so angry at a company or technician for so many reasons. I was desperate to get my chimney working. Because other companies busy up for a month, I decided to give these folks a try, and I regret this so much. They're the only company to make me feel angry at myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt. They're not even worth calling back to correct the issues they've done to my chimney, my money, and my time. NOTE: Pointing out that most of their "perfect" reviews are coming from 1-review people. It's either bots or fake accounts

We closed on our house the day before Thanksgiving and seeing the state of the carpets in the house I knew carpet cleaning was a necessary expense for our new home. As usual I came right to Yelp to find a service provider after all the awesome reviews I decided to go with Dirt Blasters. I called Ken and he was so easy to talk to and booking was a breeze. He ended up calling the day before my actual appointment with a opening which was perfect as one of my dogs decided he wanted to christen the new carpet by peeing an hour before my appointment. I didn't think the carpet was as bad but after Ken showed me some spots I realized it needed a lot more work and Ken so graciously worked within our budget as I hadn't planned for the extent of the carpet. He did such a tremendous job and gave me even more tips to maintain carpet with all the dog hair that accumulates with ( 2 bulldogs). I know that for our carpet maintenance until we get hardwood and even after that it's a no brainer to give Ken a call. Please take this review as honestly as I am writing it as this is a business owner that takes pride in his work and values his customers and I sincerely appreciate this as many business don't place a high value on customer satisfaction. Thanks again Ken!! My carpets look awesome and I am so thankful.

GREAT SERVICE We…read morepurchased a two-piece microfiber sectional from a homeowner who cooked with a LOT of curry. The home was dark so we did not notice the deep, dark stains until it came home with us and, the smell was so overpowering that we had to close off the room. Ken worked very hard and cleaned the sectional well. He was careful to explain the process and gave us options for removing the deep, dark stains. What was so impressive is that he created a custom, chemical-free, blend of essential oils for us to use to freshen the room. KEN GOES ABOVE & BEYOND The next day Ken called to check on the status of our sofa and when I mentioned that some areas had a lightened significantly but not cleared, he returned to our home and treated the entire sectional! Looks great and the curry scent is 95% gone (only came up again when wet. no scent in the dry sofa.)

Paul Romanick sued me for trademark infringement in 2021 and I had payed TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars to try to keep my business in 2021. I was taught his cleaning "three step" cleaning process in a few days of training. I did find there were several different "processes," using the same CitruSolution name and trademarks, that are different from the three step process I was taught . One was doing a "six step process." One was using a traditional, truck-mounted extractor. One was using a Rug Doctor. I wasn't trained, nor made aware there were so many different ways to do the "CitruSolution Carpet Cleaning Process." I was single handedly responsible for ALL of my advertising and marketing.
