Salmon pancakes
LaToya K.

Those salmon pancakes were 10/10. Not a bit of syrup but moist, fluffy and absolutely delicious. Salmon tasted fresh. Latte was good. Space is super cute. I had a great brunch.

Goat cheese scramble, lox bagel, green smoothie
Taylor S.

Service was pretty good with English speaking waiters. Breakfast portions were sizable. I got the goat cheese scramble which was okay, it came with salad, toasted and 2 small boiled potatoes. Got a green "smoothie" that was more of a juice, but it was good. My friend got their lox bagel, I didn't try it because their bagels are more soft and I like a chewier texture for my bagel. We got a tea which had orange juice in it, wasn't a huge fan of that but it was okay. It was a casual spot, fairly sizeable with the number of tables/seating.

It was really nice breakfast, and perfect cappuccino I recommend this restaurant, because nice atmosphere and delicious food!

Salmon eggs

Small cafe with friendly English speaking staff (for tourists like us). Not a place for big groups. The menu is diverse and the food is perfect. Beautiful presentation and flavor. Everything was fresh and balanced. If you aren't a local, you can't use a card for payment.

Scrambled eggs with ham. Comes with salad, boiled potato (yum) and toast.

A very welcoming space and a very UNWELCOMING &RUDEST BARMAID. Since the place has literally "cafe"…read morein its name my friend and I went in to work. We asked for the wifi password and she was like "oh no this is not a laptop friendly place" (which is ofc completely alright). At that moment my friend already got a bottled beer and seeing our dissapointment she said "i can turn a blind eye for a small while" and JUST because she said that i asked for a wine and very kindly asked her if we missed a sign about laptops. And she rolled her eyes and said "we don't do signs" in a very condescending voice. I completely mirrored her tone and said "Maybe you should have because how else would we know?". She adopted even a more eerie voice tone and said "Since it's a bar people don't work here" 1. Queen did you arrive that conclusion all by yourself? Ive been working at several bars since i moved here 2. The place has CAFE in its name. I'd have no issues at all if she simply said "sorry guys, laptops are not allowed" But she kept making 12 yo level smart-ass comebacks with making faces. Idk if it's a turn-on for people from small cities to be treated as shit. But im coming from a metropol even bigger than Berlin. AND LET ME TELL YOU I AM SO FED UP WITH SERVICE PEOPLE IN GENTRIFIED NEIGHBORHOODS WHO THINK THEY OWN THE CITY AND THEY GET TO TREAT YOU LIKE FECES AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT. And especially getting this behavior from a woman as another one breaks my heart. Feminism shouldn't be girls treating each other with male hostility, it should be vice-versa. I hope she gets therapy or another job without customer contact ASAP

The atmosphere inside is awesome: really cool lounge chairs, couches, tapestries, and little alcoves makes the joint feel very bohemian. The bartenders are great and made some very yummy drinks. Definitely going back.

Wunderschönes Café! I also live just around the corner and love this place. In fact, I'm sitting…read morethere already the second time today. Berlin has many great cafés, with just a handful serving truly great coffee, but Kaffekirsche really has the best-tasting brews I've had so far. The espresso is excellent, but what really got me are the roasts that they HAND-FILTER for you. The flavors are fantastic--especially the Brazil. On the food--decent belegte brötchen, amazingly delicious Rhabarber Tarte. Seriously. Try it while it's in season. The staff--some of the friendliest people in the Kiez. Very knowledgable too! The atmosphere--fresh, simple, relaxed. They don't provide WiFi, which I actually like. (If you really need to work, Mundvoll is next door. Same owners, same quality of great food.) It's a place where you can really enjoy the flavors of your coffee and the company around you.

I stayed a week in Kaffee Kirsche's kiez between apartments and came in for coffee at least four…read moretimes. The lattes were great. The one time I got a flat white to go, it was just okay. I don't think the microfoam held up well in the paper cup. I didn't get a chance to do a pour over but they seemed to be popular. They sell coffee roasted in-house. Depending on which roast you purchased, you could get some really fresh coffee. Some bags were marked as being roasted just a few days earlier but some were two weeks old. I was drawn in the first time with their pastries display. They each looked so pretty. I ordered the strawberry tart. To be honest, I thought it was going to be strawberry cheesecake. I should have asked first! Instead, it was a strawberry gelatinous cream filling. The chocolate cake base was not rich enough to stand out next to the strawberry filling. I enjoyed the look of it much more than the taste of it. I've heard that the vegan chocolate cake is really the cafe's star dessert, so I'll have to try that the next time that I'm in the neighborhood. I've never struggled to find seating, since it's ~2 blocks north of Kotti on Adalbertstr. The service can be unfriendly, which doesn't really match the look and feel of the cafe. It really depends on who is working, whether they're busy doing something else, and what language you order in. The first time that I visited, I ordered in German and the employee (possibly owner) looked really annoyed. Afterwards, I only ordered in English. The prices are typical of an upscale cafe.
