+ Ambiance is small, well sheltered quiet marina. It's located in Thomas Bay just north of the Baths on south Virgin Gorda. + They have about 100 slips for both mono hulls and cats, a dive shop and a brand new showers. YH has fuel dock and offer both diesel and gas. Each slip also has fresh water and shore power. However, the city randomly turns water and power offer frequently without any warning. There is also a decent size gift shop on the grounds. The shower is located on the second floor of a new building with several security locks. They are planning to fill the new construction with shops. From the marina, you can walk to nearby restaurants, markets and ATM machines. There is NO WIFI and caution is recommended on the approach to YH is shallow with coral beds. Hourly and overnight slips are offered. ++ Price is reasonable and reflects limited amenities. ++ Service is very good and the staff will meet you at the dock and guide you into your slip. + Parking is plenty and taxis and shuttles can be called to explorer the rest of VG. We stayed at the YH Marina twice and both stays were great with friendly service. It's a convenient location sailing from the West on St. Francis Channel to explorer VG and the Dogs. read more
