This is a pop-up restaurant in true St. John USVI season. The Lumberyard consisted of a few tables that is laid out in front of the kitchen which is the shipping container that looks like a food truck. The whole dance of the line inside that kitchen while they prepped your meal, was the heart of this experience. The Chef comes and serves your plate, knowing the flavors that culminate in this orchestrated presentation of taste. Every bite of the WAHU fresh catch was an experience on its own. It was my birthday dinner and it was perfect. Coming into both the desserts, we had a party of 4 and we all shared the bites. I had an Espresso Martini and this was phenomenal, the size of it was in a Margarita.
The ambiance is laid back, server was attentive and well spoken. The choices of the menu were well described and offered. Lighting is amazing and reservations are definitely needed. Parking available in the outside lot. read more
