What we expect in the USA from a 5 star resort may not be what we get just due to different ideas of the term. This resort was beautiful! Wonderful pool and hot tub areas, crystal clear ocean waters, great food, a little shopping, and plenty of excursions available if you wanted them, or do nothing if that's what you prefer. There are 3 restaurants on island as well as the Outpost which serves coffee, pizza and sandwiches, along with made to order breakfast sandwiches in the morning. There are pre made salads and fruit bowls for purchase as well. I loved the pizza (try the jerk chicken pizza)! There were some minor issues: staff friendliness was hit or miss per day. It seemed the longer we were there, the warmer our greetings. The room was perfect for us, complete with kitchen, sitting area, washer/dryer and a huge balcony that I spent many hours reading on and just looking at the view. Inside we had a couple small issues: the curtains were very hard to pull to the side to let the light in, and one of the balcony doors was very hard to shut! But overall? I would stay here again anytime! I visited the spa for a treatment (you can request a ride up to the spa due to the steep uphill walk) which I did, but chose to walk down to take some photos from up above. Another great service is the complimentary ferry which will take you to Marina Cay or Tortola for a change of scenery every half hour! Thank you Scrub Island Resort for a fantastic vacation!

We knew we wanted to take an excursion from St. John and luckily, our resort (Ritz Carlton Club) was able to find us the perfect trip with Chris. We departed our hotel (with our own drinks and snacks), coolers, towels, diving/snorkel gear were provided. Chris also coordinated going through customs at British Virgin Islands, our first stop were the Baths. It was an amazing ride with the beautiful waters, scenic shorelines, and awesome captain. Chris is not only a skilled captain but a great tour guide having grown up and spending a lot of time in this region. He pointed out the top beaches and a lot of other landmarks along the way. We spent time navigating through the Baths (I suggest water shoes as the ground was fairly hot and some of the rocks, nooks, and tunnels you have to go through are pretty challenging for the some of us. We touched many of the other islands like Tortola, Virgin Gorda, and had lunch at the Soggy Dollar with Chris. Chris is personable, professional, and has a 'good seaside manner'--very skilled at the helm. Loved this trip, Chris and Local Legend made it one of our most memorable travels.

They were friendly and seemed to be there with a smile when we needed anything. It was cloudy and thought that we wouldn't get much of a sunset ... but we were wrong. Wow ... what a spectacular sky. We loved the convenience of having their storefront right at our resort, the Westin St. John Resort & Villas, making it so easy to book a tour. The guided jet ski tour we took was hands-down the most fun we had during our trip! We started the 1 hour tour from our resort in Great Cruz Bay to our 1st stop at Steven Cay before heading north to Two Brothers island for more fun jet skiiing near the island. On the way back, we stopped near deeper waters to zip around Moraviane Reef - safe for jet skiing and being away from boat traffic. A special shout-out to our guide, **Josh**, who took incredible care of us throughout the entire experience. I was a bit nervous at first, but Josh was so attentive and made me feel completely at ease. He kept a close eye on me while I followed behind and ensured that I was comfortable and safe the whole time. Josh also went above and beyond by taking plenty of videos and photos of us on the jet skis, which gave us the best memories to take home. If you're looking for a fun and safe adventure while in St. John, **Cruz Bay Watersports** is the way to go. We'll definitely be back!
