I wish I could give negative stars. I purchased two flyboarding sessions. After receiving confirmation on yelp, I received no additional details on the appointment. Prior to the appointment, I contacted the booking agency Peek Pro who was able to tell me where to meet on the day of the appointment (Jack London Aquatic Center). When I arrived at the aquatic center, no one from Xtreme Xcursions was there. I tried calling them at this time (and throughout the week) and never once did they answer or return my call. Xtreme Xcursions is run by Alex who has fantastic customer service! If you are looking to kayak, sail, paddle board, kite surf, mountain bike, or fly board in San Francisco they offer all of these services. My personal favorite activity on the bay is paddle boarding or kayaking (highly highly recommend Stand Up Paddleboarding or SUP if you have never tried it!) Sailing on the bay is also one of the absolute best ways to wind down and enjoy the sunshine! I have been wanting to try kite boarding (and when I do Xtreme Xcursions will be the place I go)! I booked a boat party in San Francisco with Xtreme Xcursions and it exceeded my expectations beyond belief! We did a 4 hour trip from the Brisbane marina to Treasure Island and back. Alex and his crew were extremely accommodating, friendly and inviting--they were more than happy to assist us in anything we needed. Their boat was comfortable with a great sound system and even had a barbecue onboard. Alex had awesome activities including paddleboarding, zorbing and jet skiing that were perfect for team-bonding!! I felt much closer to the team after our day on the bay. I highly recommend Xtreme Xcursions for any and all occasions, particularly if you're looking for a unique setting for a corporate retreat. I had a pleasure to join the xtreme excursion team for a beautiful sailing trip around the bay. I love any activities that involves water. We got picked up in SF, went to McCovey Cove, under the Bay Bridge to Treasure Island where we did flyboarding. It was a great experience. Alex (captain), Joanna, Peter and their Australian pup were so nice and a lot of fun to sail with. I can't wait for my next sailing trip that I already booked for my birthday. read more

I had an amazing time! I've always wanted to learn to sail. Alex is a great teacher. Very patient & super fun. He encourages you to get involved, if you want to. Or you can just chill out and relax. Beautiful boat and exceptional company. He has a fire pit on board (smores), full kitchen, bathroom, 3 bedrooms (in case you need to take a nap, like me). Had a great time on the Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga excursion with instructor Leslie. She catered to our many different ability levels very well. Got a great work out in and felt comfortable the whole time. The scenery was gorgeous and it was the perfect way to exercise on my vacation. read more

I just celebrated my birthday with Xtreme Xcursions, and it was so so good. I did an hour of paddleboard-yoga followed by a couple of hours of shared flyboarding for me and 4 friends. None of us had done either before. We had a really fun time trying to stay on our paddleboards while drifting around the Jack London marina. Then flyboarding. Man was it fun! I initially scheduled yoga because I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to do it at all. But all of us managed to fly! We hovered yards above the water, did dolphin dives, and even a flip or two. Sometimes intentionally : ) The staff was fun and accommodating. The pictures were phenomenal. People in our group would not stop telling me how great of a time they were having. Could not recommend more! read more

Wow! What an experience. My girlfriends and I decided to do something "xtreme" for a bachelorette party and boy did we choose right. Alex and his team took such great care of us. San Francisco Bay areas first of its kind amazing water sports and events usually seen in vacation resorts. Now we can enjoy in our back yard. My 11 year old grandson has already had an experience of a lifetime . Great fun for all ages. Check it out !! read more

Took my nieces Zorbing. Pleasantly surprised that the location for our activity was to be on Treasure Island. Great views of the new bay bridge span. Wind was blocked since we were on the east side. Little beach there that I didn't even know existed. Zorbing was great fun. You climb in a big plastic ball and sit down while the guide blows it up with a leaf blower. Then, he pushes the ball a bit from the shore on top of the water and let's you play. The ball is attached to a rope, so you won't blow away. Hard work/exhausting and difficult, but a fun challenge to try to run inside a large plastic ball on the bay. The kids found their balance quicker than I did and managed to actually run in the ball just like a hamster on a wheel. Recommendation - don't stay in the ball too long. Oxygen deprivation is noticeable. We took turns every 5-10 minutes, and that worked well. Didn't get wet at all - but a bit of sand in the ball from the beach - harmless. The people before us said they hoped we hadn't just eaten, but we didn't have any nausea. We also tried with 2 in the ball at the same time, but had much more success going one at a time. Sailing with Alex is a must. He really got everyone on board involved and a part of the action. By the end of the beautiful day we were all working together and having a great time doing it. We traveled around the bay for hours seeing all of the sites and enjoying the water. I would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Alex! read more

Have you ever wanted to feel like Iron man flying around in the sky? Have you ever wanted to dive like a dolphin, cruising effortlessly through both water and air? Then look no further. Xtreme Xcursions allows you a 45 minute water sport thrill the likes of which I could have only dreamed of. Alex and Joanne guide you (alone, or with a friend - I brought my girlfriend) on a device called a "sky board" which we quickly dubbed a "Jet Board." The board is hooked up to a Jet Ski and propels you through the water and even into the sky like a jet-pack attached to your feet. I literally felt like Iron Man! It is almost impossible to to articulate how amazing of an experience this is... My only advice is just go do it. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. P.S . It is surprisingly easy to do. I was gifted a fly boarding session for my birthday. I had not heard of the sport yet, I am glad that I went to try it out. The instructor was great, I was up in the air quickly. He had pointers for me each time I went down. I knew he was paying close attention to me and my safety. He also wanted me to succeed. I will definitely be back. I want to try a backflip. I would suggest the 1 hour session only because I felt the 30 minutes went by too fast. Lots of fun with great backdrops of the bay bridge. read more
