Joy and Emmet are fantastic at pretty much all that they do. I had them come in and sand down some water damaged cabinets and refinish them- they are like new now! Joy even painted a few other touch up spots while the main cabinets were drying. They are professionals and know what they are doing. I highly recommend them for any home project as Emmet has done everything from tear down walls to build trampolines. Reasonable estimates via texting which is a bonus! Xtreme knows their stuff! I had the BEST experience I've ever had with painters. I had a small room that need to be painted. They gave me a very fair quote and really delivered. They quoted about 4 hours, and were done painting in 3.5. Clean lines top to bottom. Awesome awesome customer service. Doesn't show up for appointments. Raining at 7am so they didn't want to show up for a 9-10am appointment on one of the most beautiful days of 2019. Reply to Company reply: Company contacted me two hours prior at 7am saying they "may need to reschedule" Contacted company at 9am while the sun was shining. Ignored conversation until bad review. Have screenshot and her reply shows my appointment was brushed off and moved on to another appointment unnecessarily. Guess business is boomin' when you can no-show to appointments. read more

Made an appointment to have some things done on a house we just bought. Mostly small stuff like cabinet hardware installed, ceiling fans, towel rack, etc. I made this appointment almost a month out. Kept in touch with the Owner regularly via YELP as the appointment got closer. Even sent them a list of all the things I wanted them to do. I needed all this done on a certain day that they said they were available and I was off work. Was told over and over, don't worry we will be there and get you taken care of. They even quoted me an hourly price for the jobs that they would be doing. Last message I received from Joy was, we will be there between 8:00-9:00. Appointment day rolls around, this company is a no show between 8:00-9:00. About 9:30 I send them a message and ask if we are still good to go? No response. I wait until around noon. Nothing. They stood me up. Left me in a bind. Keep in mind this was scheduled nearly 4 weeks before. Finally later on in the afternoon Joy the owner, writes a message that it slipped their mind. Wants me to reschedule. Are you serious? This is how you run a business?? If they didn't want to do it then just tell me. How can you tell someone what time you will be there and then it slips your mind? My wife is furious, we had things that needed to be done. Just a pitiful way to treat customers. EXTREME all right. I was looking to repair my water damaged townhouse [ replacing all walls and ceiling in garage, all lower cabinets, sink and coutertop in kitchen, flooring in living and kitchen area ] and repaint. My initial assignment to them is just replacing all dry walls and ceiling in the garage and they completed on time and compete for kitchen and flooring job too and they completed whole project in just three weeks with compete price. I have to echo the many reviews already here and mention how great Emit and Joy were! I am selling my house and had painted my walls all kinds of crazy colors and originally reached out them to return my walls back to a normal color. Besides the other rainbow of colors in the other rooms, I had turning my formal dinning room into a game room, complete with graffiti spray painted on the walls! After they were done, my home is now soccer-mom approved and ready to go active on the market! When the came to give me a quote, I mentioned some other things that I needed a handy-man for and they let me know they could take care of it all. And they did! Emit replaced a toilet flap, replaced a bedroom door, and remounted a bathroom fixture that had fallen off. I was packing while they were here and Emit was even nice enough to help be bring some heavy boxes downstairs. I cannot thank them enough for their great customer service, awesome humor and work ethic, as well as the excellent services they provided and at extremely competitive pricing! I hire for shower leak and they claim to fixed it. It was told me for 1-year warranty but few months later itself started leaking again. I hired Xtreme Services to paint a room, convert some single light switches to double switches, and patch the drywall around the switches. They were 2.5 hours late for our initial appointment. The paint job was good. Not excellent, as I had to touch up some spots and they did not tape the edges. The switch conversion was successful, but when I went to replace the faceplates the gangboxes were slightly crooked. The drywall "repair" was sub-par. Instead of a proper repair they used my own gypsum wall patch material to puddy it over. Once it dried it was cracked and sunken. I asked them to come fix it and they no-showed twice before I dismissed them and smoothed it over myself. Their pricing is competitive, but you get what you pay for. Their communication and time management skills leave something to be desired. When they wouldn't show up I would call and text, but I only received responses when I sent yelp messages. They are nice people and if you need some affordable help around the house and have time to burn then use Xtreme Services. I, however, will not be using them again. We are very busy with limited free time so in the future I will pay more for high quality work, timeliness, and open communication. Lesson learned. read more

Wow! These guys came in on a disaster left by another "company." I'm talking renovation nightmares wouldn't want to touch this house. They came in, took charge, got everything done, and did a great job! Every little things extra they could do to help us they did. They stayed late, came early, and just generally busted butt every single day until it was finished. They completely redid my ceilings, painted every wall, and hung light fixtures. I am so grateful to Xtreme Services! I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment when my dog woke me up in the middle of the night - insisting that he had to go out to do his business! I rushed out only to realize that I did not grab the fob that opens my door, and management at my residence basically states "we don't do lockouts, and if you're locked out after 6pm, it's your problem." I felt pretty doomed since the Memorial Day holiday basically meant mgt would not be available to open my door until Tuesday morning (it's true - they amazingly are the only ones who can open the door, one is not allowed an extra fob - it's so fundamentally wrong - however - I digress..) Fortunately I had left my balcony door cracked open - so, went to Yelp to find a handyman - and picked them because they are available 24/7... I was overjoyed when they said they would come out immediately with an extension ladder - which they did - and got me back in pronto - they're the best!! Really pleased with the painting work Joy, Emit, and Mike did on our office walls and the reasonable price tag they did it for. They were a joy to work with: great work ethic and fun-loving humor. Joy put in a lot of extra effort in making sure that they really understood the special paint we were using, and gave a lot of advice from what she learned--which I sincerely appreciated! The only drawback was the payment application, which would work great for a residential customer, but didn't have many good payment options for a commercial customer (difficult to pay with a business credit card and a trick to figure out how to get a receipt for accounting purposes). Joy and Emmett came out to take care of some odds and ends for us after we moved into our house. They generally did what we had asked them to do, but it took a lot longer than we had anticipated and they needed to use most of our tools or improvised rather than having their own. One item in particular that had concerned us was a gap around the drain in our shower. We took about an hour and a half--most of that was MY time sitting on the floor of the shower with my blow dryer--drying out the area around the PVC pipe so it could be caulked, which is what they said needed to be done. Emmett caulked it. We waited overnight to let it dry, as instructed. Two days later, 4 holes had opened up in the caulking. I texted Joy and she said they would come back out and fix it, that it would only take 20 minutes. We had used the shower again, so it was wet again. Wouldn't we need to start over by getting all the water out? Joy told me that the caulk had shrunk or cracked and that they would use some caulk that is shrink and crack resistant. What? They had specifically said that what we had bought was not the correct caulk, and used theirs. Wouldn't they have used a crack and shrink-resistant caulk to begin with? We told them no thanks and decided to tackle the issue ourselves. We literally worked on it all week--researching, drying out the shower pan, taking more pieces out near the drain....and long story short, it was a bigger issue than caulking or grouting around the drain (the 'weep holes' of the drain were blocked, which allowed water to sit in the shower pan. This had to be addressed, not covered with caulk). We were able to repair it after much research and thought (and we are not handy around the house), but it made us wonder how 'repair' people missed the mark so far on this one! They did willingly help with a couple of items that required improvising a bit, including Emmett going to a hardware to obtain a part, which we appreciated. They were also willing to come over on a Saturday, which was also appreciated. read more
