My appointment was made on the cell phone. They were not on time but within the hour of the expected time. The repair person is very polite and gives you the time of estimate to complete. The estimate was outrageous for such a small dent, so I decided not to have it repaired. Today I found out that it was reported to CARFAX. There was no accident, no police report, no insurance claim, and no repair was done. This auto shop was the only place I went for an estimate. I highly recommend to stay away from this shady business. I wish I had never stepped my foot in there.

But clients should be aware that by going to your house you are missing on the improved quality that a proper shop environment would provide (improved tools, paint job and more materials), and this is not well communicated by Fender Menders. After the service, I called mentioning that it wasn't looking finished yet, I was told that I should, myself, wait for 3 weeks then wet sand the area then wax it. If this was mentioned prior to the service I would be fine, but it wasn't. I guess to summarize my feedback: * Over-communicate what is and what isn't included on the service. * Make sure people understand what they are missing out for not going to a proper body shop space. * I'd suggest doing a second visit for so that the sanding and waxing can be done properly and so that any missing imperfections can be fixed. I hope the service improves with this feedback.

After spending thousands of dollars, I picked up my vehicle only to realize the Range Rover emblem was completely missing from the back of my car--even though it was supposed to be replaced. I had to wait almost a full month for them to finally get the emblem in and schedule me to come back. When I returned to have it installed, they put the emblem on crooked and not straight at all. I called immediately to let them know and Joey told me there was nothing he could do because his team used the "styrofoam guide" that comes with the emblem and therefore claimed it should be straight. Even after admitting the issue, he refused to fix the poor workmanship unless I paid more money for additional parts to correct their mistake. This was extremely unprofessional, and I'm disappointed that after paying so much, I still left with sloppy work and no accountability. I would not recommend Carsmetics to anyone.
