This place has been around forever. I remember seeing it even as a kid. Everything on the property is super dated, right down to the old school office and work area. It's like a time machine back to the 1960s. I hear the current owner (Helmut) is the grandson of the original founders. I really appreciate the honesty of the place. Helmut and the technician took a look the cracked part and gave me some technical reasons why it should be replaced and not rewelded, and also gave me recommendations on fixing the problem elsewhere. They could've easily taken my money but didn't. This sort of trust is rare in the auto repair industry. I've had friends use their services before and the quality of the work is high. Very professional. Several of my car enthusiast friends also recommend this shop.

I called at the end of the month, they told me they did not have it yet and it might come at the beginning of next month so I called them again next month. A lady picked up, can't speak english told me to hold, and cut me off. I had to wait another time to give them a call so the guy would pick up because he could speak english. I was again dissapointed that they did not have the item in stock as they promised. The guy told me it will be here by the end of the this month AGAIN.... I called them back and a lady picked up, could not speak english and cut me off. Why would you run a business if you can't speak english? I am not being racist because I do share the same background as them. I would like this review to be a reminder to not make empty promises on stock that will be coming and telling customers later that it is not in.

I was looking for a place to install a spoiler for my car. To be honest, I don't know much about…read morecars and all the technical terms. I became interested in cars after I started playing a video game called Grand Theft Auto 5. While I was modding virtual cars in the game, I started wanting to do that for a real life car! Haha. As a student on a budget, I'm not able to afford fancy cars or do expensive modding. But I could do something within my student wallet means on an older car. I decided the first thing I wanted to do was add on a spoiler. I talked to one of my car-loving friends and he recommended Garage Five Performance Tuning to me. I emailed Garage Five some inquiries, and Rob was polite and professional in his replies. I think he's the owner or manager. I bought a spoiler for my car on eBay and had it shipped from US to Canada. I was a bit nervous about this because I've never done anything like this before. I was really careful and did my due diligence in making sure it was correct for my car model and the factory paint matching the vehicle -- and I had emailed all of that to Rob. Rob was very helpful. He was transparent about pricing and on the time needed to install it. The staff at Garage Five were very professional, friendly, and did a wonderful job installing the spoiler onto the car. They found a defective problem with the spoiler lights (which would be the fault of the eBay seller). I've uploaded a photo of the car spoiler. My car isn't yellow, I changed the color for privacy reasons. Thank you, Rob and Garage Five team!
