He showed me pictures of issues that were going on with my roof that I was not aware of. He showed me different shingles and even pointed out a roof that Sherriff Goslin had done on my street. Greg did not push the sale, but did give me plenty of options for my roof When i made the decision to go with Sherriff Goslin for my roof, i was on the schedule right away and was approved for Financing. I reached out to my homeowners insurance company so also have them come out for an inspection, I figured it was worth a shot to see if they would help pay for a new roof. I was in luck and when I let Greg know this, he was more than happy to hear this and was willing to rewrite the roofing agreement after my homeowners insurance made payment. As it was getting closer to the time to have my roof replaced, Greg called me to let me know that they could get me in a few days earlier. The crew that arrived to do my roof, was prompt and got straight to work. What really impressed me was that they got my roof done in 1 day and the cleanup they did was great. I was concerned about nails being in my yard as i have 3 dogs, when i mentioned that to Greg, he made sure that the crew knew this ahead of time. I will tell you this, i have not found a nail in my yard. The work they did was beyond amazing and I am more than pleased with the look of my new roof.

He provided a temporary fix while assisting me through a homeowners insurance claim repair due to the damage being caused by a tree limb falling on my roof. On the day of the work a six man crew completed a whole tear down, deck repair, and shingle replacement of a whole side of my roof in a matter of hours. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the fact as well. Although the particular type of shingle was not the same as those originally installed on my house it looked nearly identical so as to not be noticeable. I was extremely satisfied overall and would not hesitate to recommend this company to others or use them again in the future.

This was a project we were hoping to hold off on until a few months later, but ended up needing to be done sooner. Because of this, we were unable to be there in person to meet with contractors. I ended up calling 7 roofing companies to go out to the property and get quotes. Jett Gillis went out the next day and was able to get me a quote very quickly. Every other company I called either told me that they were too busy to give us a quote, completely failed showed up to the appointment, quoted us much higher, or gave me a bit of an unpleasant attitude. I even had to explain to one highly-rated company what a soffit was not once, not twice, but three times! (A soffit is the underside of the roof.) Horner Roofing is the only company that checked every box. They were: - professional - communicative - friendly - reasonably priced. Because of our work, I have communicated and done business with countless companies in various realms of home improvement. Jett has been by far the most wonderful contractor I have worked with in every way. Calls to and from the Horner Roofing office with Susan were always an absolute pleasure. We got a very reasonable quote and it was actually on the low side. I was concerned especially when it comes to something this important. But we did not have much money left after buying a house so we decided to go with them. Well, the roofers came a few weeks later after faxing over a signed binding contract. They worked their arses off to get it done in 2 days. The only beefs I have was them not letting me know the day they were going to show up, the taking down of the sattelite dish and putting it back on wrong. They did come back to repair the mess a few days later. Only time will tell if the roof holds up but it looks great.

I contacted them about a roof that was starting to show its age, and from the initial conversation, they were straightforward and easy to deal with. They took the time to explain what needed attention, walked me through the available options, and provided a clear quote without making me feel pressured into unnecessary upgrades. One thing I particularly appreciated was their communication. They showed up when they said they would, kept me informed about the schedule, and answered my questions patiently. It's amazing how much of a difference those basic things make when you're hiring someone to work on your home. The crew worked efficiently and seemed to take genuine pride in doing the job properly. They paid attention to the details around the roof edges, flashing, and other areas where shortcuts can lead to problems later. The finished roof looked excellent, and the workmanship appeared very neat and professional. I was especially impressed by the cleanup. Roofing work can create a tremendous mess, but the crew made a real effort to leave the property looking the way they found it. They collected debris, cleaned up around the house, and checked the yard for stray nails. That kind of consideration says a lot about a company. The pricing also felt fair for the quality of work and level of service provided. A roof is a major investment, and I'd much rather hire a contractor who does the job carefully than simply choose whoever offers the lowest price. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Professional communication, quality workmanship, a hardworking crew, and attention to the little details that matter. Better Way Roofing is exactly the kind of contractor I'd feel comfortable recommending to friends and family. Five stars!
