This florist has never disappointed me with the arrangements delivered and are very helpful over the phone with any questions I have had. I was disappointed with the bouquet. The only thing that looked the same was the vase and Lillie's. I requested the larger bouquet and thought there would be more roses and blue flowers. A week ago I ordered flowers from a different family florist in SA and they looked exactly like the picture. The one my family member got looks anemic. Even if and when the lillies bloom, it won't make up for the lack of roses and for the cheap replacement flowers they selected. So I've been a bit remiss in getting around to leaving this review, as I'd planned to leave it just after Valentine's Day. This was the second year that the wonderful ladies at Xpressions Florist kept me from having to sleep on the couch. I wandered in the day before to find the whole place absolutely overflowing with bouquets ready to be delivered on behalf of those lesser procrastinators and, after pleading my case, they agreed to squeeze in yet one more delivery for Valentine's Day. Despite the last minute request, the flowers were beautiful, delivery was timely, and the wife was happy. So all is well for another year. read more

Having used online services previously and being less than thrilled, I decided to do what's recommended and try a local florist (I am from San Antonio but am a longtime NYC resident). I looked at the web site, saw an arrangement that I liked but was a bit more than I wanted to spend, and called. Adriana was very friendly and helpful, confirming that she could do something for less that would still be attractive (primarily by using a smaller vase and fewer flowers). And I am very happy with the results - my mother isn't a good photo taker but I saw the arrangement over FaceTime and can confirm what others have said - the actual results look better than the photo I was going from, whereas my prior experience has been the reverse! I'm from Dallas and was trying to send flowers to my friend that just got back home from her tour in Kuwait. Everything went through online, including payment. The next day I get a call from the florist that says they don't deliver to military bases. When I asked why she said "it takes too long to deliver to military bases and my driver doesn't have the correct papers to be able to deliver there" I'm very disappointed that this place refuses to deliver to our military. read more

They worked wonders to make the most beautiful arrangements for my mothers funeral... The casket spray was AMAZING and is soooo beautiful I lost count on the total of roses it had. The rose rosary was so well made as well... It only lasted 2 days before starting to die (as the flower shop warned me it would) since it doesn't have a source for water.
