After I gave him my monthly statement payment, I told him how much I appreciated the service I received through his agency from State Farm Insurance for the past 36 years. I was really impressed when he voluntarily offered to review my insurance coverage and recommended that I should add mold and mildew protection coverage to my insurance portfolio. I was so happy he took the time to explain the importance of purchasing the additional coverage because I thought mold and mildew damage was covered in my regular homeowner insurance policy.

I own a Hyundai Sonata Limited and Had it serviced at the Crown Automotive Group, more specifically Crown Hyundai located at 5301 34th St. N here in St. Petersburg this past September 30th. The car is under warranty and was DOA so I had it towed into the dealership. It took them 8 days before they could even assign a mechanic to it. They discovered the problem and fixed it and I picked it up on October 11th. The car stated acting up again and was surging when I would accelerate from a stopped position at a red light. I had called the service advisor Crown that I had deal with in September but got his voice mail instead. I left my message for him to call me and gave some details. I didn't hear back and called every day for 4 days leaving a message each time. On the fifth day, November 28th, I took the car up there and went into the service department asking for the service advisor that I left messages on his voice mail and was told by another service advisor that he was no longer with the company and had been gone for some time. I informed him that if my guy was gone why is it that I can leave a voice mail on his line with his voice and that I did so for 4 days. All the guy did was to shrug his shoulders and say "Beats me". So I said that I had to make a service appointment for my car and he said he could help me with that. He pulled up my file and looked at the appointment schedules to find the earliest appointment and told me they can't take it until January 10 of 2023. I said to him, "No really, when?" and he repeated it. I said you are saying that I have to wait 43 days for you to check out my car that is under warranty and he said, "That's the best we can do" so I told him to book it. I was pissed on the drive home and decided to call Hyundai of New Port Richey where I had also bought some cars from. When I asked what was the earliest service appointment I could get with them I was told December 14th (a full 27 days earlier than Crown quoted me) so I booked it with them. The savings of waiting 17 additional days more than outweighs the 32 mile drive. So I just wanted to let people know that Crown Automotive Group that runs many locations selling many different make of cars but how they can expect someone to wait 43 days to have their car serviced is just mind boggling. I'm retired but what about someone who is still working because they need to work to pay the bill and can't get a service appointment for 43 days, it's just ludicrous! Could it be that being they are so big and might feel they are the biggest and best in town that they have put customer service in the back seat and disregard any priorities that customer service used to have. So heads up folks if you buy a vehicle from them or you already own one don't expect a miracle and in this case it being to have you car serviced before more than a month's wait. So Buyer beware!

I switched to Geico 7 years ago and thought of transferring out numerous times due to the length of wait time for phone assistance ( often nearing an hour wait ). Then reached out to State Farm and here comes Jake. From day one, the service was impeccable: courteous, compassionate, precise, and better rates for higher limits. Jake was patient, knowledgeable and very aware of my needs ( I am a seasoned insurance connoisseur having worked in the industry for many years ). He consistently called, updated and kept me informed till I had to pay my premium. Excellent customer service from day one and hoping it will remain the same. There will be an update within 7 months but for the time being, thank you Jake and stay as amazing as you have been thus far.
